Giggly women

I really hate adult women who giggle.  The giggle I mean is the one that comes from young women who are pretending to be friendly.  For example:

"Hehehe May I take your order?" <fake grin>

Then there are the women who seem to giggle at everything "oh you were looking for me?  hehehehe" 

Whats up with the giggle?

Its not charming, its annoying as hell. 

i hate the "hehe" giggle. especially coming from boys though.

I'm not sure I even know how to giggle, except in the Beavis & Butthead manner.

Insincerity in any form is irritating.

Like saying "Sorry" when you have no regrets and know full well you'll do it again.

I giggle like that when I'm nervous.  It's just a tic of mine.  I'm trying to replace it with nail biting, but no luck so far. =)

That said, I do want to slap women when I hear them giggling and shrieking like teenagers.

I hate shrieking--ever nothice it's mainly the yuppie type women who do this? Build up their words in a crescendo that becomes this ear-splitting shriek by the end of the sentence?

Thankfully none of my friends has ever done this.

Ooo, I HATE that critter.  The valley girl voice seems to have taken over the female world.

Oh, but.. sometimes....

Like, today, I went to the post office with my husband. We were in a hurry so I got in the line to use the machine to mail the package and he got in the line for the teller. I kept peeking around the corner to see if he was moving up faster than I was and every time I looked he was leaning forward to peek at me. I felt like I was 6 months old and had to giggle every time. So, how annoying is that?

unless your under the influence of a drug or its some inside joke giggling is stupid. under the influence is still stupid but at least you have an understandable reason.

I meant these in question form though, kind of a "know what I mean?"

My mother was all about not ordering things in a questioning form (i.e. "I'll have the soup." not "I'll have the soup?") because she thought it sounded too much like asking permission.

 It's not the "nervous" giggles that get me - it is the giggling like you want someone else to giggle with you.

Kinda like LOL - when you really aren't.

What about online giggling? I online giggle a lot. Kind of like a smiley face to show the mood of the comment :)

I been noticing not as many people use "rofl" online though...

It just happens that I giggle around guys I like a lot..

like in real life..

when there is a guy I like,I giggle a lot..but when I am having fun with a female friend,I just laugh out so loudly..

but some say that my giggles are fake when they hear them..

who cares ? :)

I find it annoying too, except I guess that makes me a hypocrite because I find myself doing it when I'm especially nervous.

Adult gigglers are annoying as hell, but when was the last time you spent the whole day in a high school?

I'm a sophomore (three more years to suffer through!) and I have to say; teenaged girls are SO ANNOYING! They make me ashamed to be a 15 year old of the same gender. They giggle at everything, most of the time just to get attention from people because they expect everyone to wonder what they're giggling about.

A lot of teenagers are also shockingly stupid. Either they agree with everything everyone says because they're too moronic to come up with a cohesive thought on their own, or they disagree with everything everyone says because they're convinced that they're master's of the universe.

Teenaged girls are also SOO self-centered. They act like every single little bad thing that happens to them is the end of the world and everyone else should think so too.

And something that teenaged girls do that is special to Calorie Count; if you go into Young Calorie Counters, you'll see about 1,000 posts from girls saying that they're like 5'6", and want to weigh 95 pounds, and they're whining because for some reason they can't weigh that much. Or they're talking about how their doctor is out to get them for saying they can't eat under 1,200 calories.

For someone who is a teenaged girl, I have many complaints about them. Sorry for the rant, but it's true and everyone knows it!

It's ok, I felt the same way when I was your age (3-4 years ago). However it doesn't ever get any better, the people just get older.

Don't ever take a vacation to Japan. You'll lose your mind... they're basically the nation that invented the concept of "hypercute giggly schoolgirl".
