Yes, It's me the Israeli girl who obsesses about her Nationiality.  But this time Hopefully there will be no fights  =)

Did anyone here the news about this kidnapped soldier Gilad Shalit who was captured right before the 2nd Lebanon war 2006 near the Gaza Strip by the Hamas (Political or Terrorist organization depending Who you are), anyways he's still in Gaza.  There were discussions on "getting" Gilad Shalit back by releasing 30 Terrorist prisoners who are themselves in Israeli Prisons, for the sake of Gilad Shalit.  I know its hard getting hold of captured soldiers especially for the trade off of numerous terrorists But Im kind of angry at the Israeli government for the case of the captured soldier, Ron Arad in 1981-1st Lebanon war, Who was sadly kind of forgotten for 22 years.  Still Imprisoned in Lebanon, I just hope Hope HOPE they will bring him back-Gilad Shalit at least.  Because last time they tried "getting Back" Ron Arad we trade about 1000 Terrorists with Lebanon and received the other stolen soldiers but never Ron Arad, He Still might be In Lebanon dead or Alive, Hopefully still alive.

What do you guys think about this situation?  Should Israel trade in 30 Terrorists for Our soldier?  Personally I think so.  But maybe its because I have an "Israeli Connection".  Anyways Post your opinions, Im interested.

I too never said I was an expert.  You said that I was, remember?  I said I learned the ins and outs in Uni.
And don't the Palestinians themselves base their lands on biblical resources as well, JewelsMCblah?  Because They do as well.

thebled, calm down.

Again, you are so biased that it's pointless to discuss this with you.

Let me ask you, when was the definitive moment that it was stolen? And how? And where did all these Palestinians come from to steal it?

Honestly, from what I gather, they were boththere! Probably around the same time, until conflict emerged and yes, both groups were "kicked" to one side or the other. It's like playing king of the mountain or something, Why is it so difficult to co-exist peacefulyl and share? I don't understand it.

And sorry to sound so harsh but we gave the Palestinians many chances to be independent problem Is that this results in uprising, missiles, and Death, So why shouldn't we have control over these territories, This region even in the beggining wasn't controlled by the Palestinians.

But keep going on with your Naive sense.

Just because you believe the offer was valid and just, doesn't mean the Palestinians agree.

Do you know every term and condition that was discussed and then rejected by Arafat (sp?) No, I doubt it.

I'm not saying I do, but they have a right to reject a proposal if they think it's unfair.

I hate when the Bibical claim to the land comes up, period.

I'm from and area where everyone thinks that Israel should get the support of the whole world to blow all the Arabs (actually, people where I'm from would have some "clever" racial slur to use instead of Arab) away once and for all.  So pardon me when I don't bring up the wrongs of the Arabs in that area.  I know what they've done too.
I wasn't serious about that.  I was joking, because before Someone claimed that an event occured 400 years ago and this one was recent, I was trying to prove an unsignificant point.

Yes.  Both Nations were there, But it's not as If the Israelis treat them Inhumanely to the acme. Okay so I was taught by my family in a so-called "Biased" way.  I saw how it is In Israel.  I wish I can see how it is in gaza, but I can't.
Good.   Im glad you're educated.
But they are treated inhumanely.  That's why they try to kill Jews whenever they have the chance.

Perhaps, TheBledx3.. you should try going into Gaza? Go volunteer there. Consider some hospital work, or something like that. They'd probably love the help.

Oh yes and "The Israelis" sounds so much better, I'll Refer to the "Arabs" as the Arab Nation.  In this specific case, palestinians.
Put yourself in their shoes TheBledx.
Yes.  Actually I really want to, if you are being serious.  But you know what?  it's Impossible.  As I said Im Israeli, Israelis can't enter Gaza, Not allowed.  If you are a citizen and enter Gaza, Most likely you won't come back.  Why do you think Gilad shalit Isn't Back?  Do you think he's over there "Helping in Hospitals"?
Israeli isn't a slur.  The "K" word is.
I would even go as far as the Mossad to enter Gaza.  Or even be a foot soldier to enter Gaza.

How about you put yourself also in My shoes? Or my ancestors shoes?  how about my grandparents?  they were kicked out.  how about my Eastern european grandparents in which I lost my Great grandfather in the holocaust in which He had no place to run for refuge to and Perished?  how about them.

Big Brother is the government.  Read 1984 for a full explaination.
