I only wear one with slinky clothing, to smooth me out.
You wouldn't want to wear one every day. It presses on your internal organs or something like that. For me, I wouldn't want to wear one every day because it leaves red lines on my skin, which I'm not a huge fan of.
HI!
So I started wearing a girdle a couple of months ago, I felt so silly at first you know but I got used to it and I love it now. It has actually helped to correct my posture and my body is so smooth under my clothes now. I've come to think about it as a bra for my body....kinda weird but i can't live without mine either. Anyway I bought mine from www.hourglassangel.com it's the best i've found out there i strongly recommend it.
Hi All!
I used to be a big girdle-wearing fan ... until I got so fat that it just became completely uncomfortable to continue. My doctor told me that it wouldn't do damage to me if I wore it (unless it was causing circulation problems or was too small). BUT, one thing she told me was that if I wore my girdle daily I would begin to lose stomach muscle. Wearing a girdle allows you to not have to "suck in" your gut or tighten it up to look better and it can make you have "lazy" posture. When she said this it made perfect sense ... I walk around "taller" and tighten my stomache muscles all day long ... just to "feel" and look a little slimmer than I actually am ... when I used to wear a girdle ... I just let the girdle do all the work.
Once I lose some of this weight ... I may actually rock a girdle again for those cute slinkier outfits that I want a little extra "wow" in ... but daily use is definitely over for this chubby chick ... I am working hard on having good posture and rockin' abs and I don't want to screw with that just so I can look a little bit tinier for the day-to-day. Just my two cents anyway!![]()
Is jump roping as good an exercise as running?
