girl question.

So I haven't had my period in over 2 months now, and I'm not starving myself. I never went under 1200 calories, and for the last like 2 weeks i've been eating a lot of unhealthy foods. :/. Should I go to the doctor to check this out?

Yes you should go to the doctor and have yourself checked.

it's because you aren't getting enough nutrients, eat healthier and have some vitamins and you should get it back. [=
did you lose weight too quickly?are you eating enough fat?are you at too low a weight for your body type?

i'm having the same problem and these are the questions the doctor asked me. he told me to gain ten pounds, even though i'm not underweight.
You may be eating 1200 calories a day... but what's your BMR? How active are you? If you're eating 1200 calories and your BMR is 1800 and you're burning up another 600 calories in vigorous exercise, you're going to be short. Do it for too long and your body will know about it. That said, it's quite normal to skip a month every now and then especially if you've been under stress or something's changed in your life or you've been unwell at all. The reproductive hormones are a delicate balance and it's easy to tip it temporarily and having something strange happen to your cycle. If you're worried about it, see your doctor and get checked, but one missed month isn't really likely to mean anything much (now if you've missed three in a row, DEFINITELY see the doctor).
definatly see a doctor. But other causes could be, too little fat in your diet, calorie restriction, vit deficient, exreme weightloss in a short period of time or over stressed do to extreme workouts.

The same thing happened to me, but it was because my body was stressed because of my rigorous workout schedule. Since then i lessened my workouts and started eating better ( more calories and  wide variety of foods)
If there's no obvious reason, then go see a doctor.
I have always had an imbalanced period (skipping 2-3 months usually) Sometimes I get my period regularily, but sometimes i skip 2 to 3 months, it scares me but I'm not starving myself or anything. Sometimes I go under 1000 calories a day but I don't do any excersising except walk to and from classes. Sometimes I binge but that's only for a day or two, which i can then lose the weight in about 3 days. You should take vitamins and minerals if you dont think youre getting enough from your diet tho.

i havent had mine in 6MONTHS!

my mom said its just cause i havent been gaining weight.

but i still eat healthy.

Maybe you aren't eating enough for your height (1200 is only indicated for a 5' female weighing 100 lbs, anyone taller or heavier needs to eat more). Maybe you don't have a high enough percentage body fat or are otherwise too thin. Maybe you are young and just have irregular periods for no real reason. Maybe you have PCOS or some other slight hormonal imbalance. Maybe you are pregnant. Maybe it's nothing .... in any case, go to the doctor -- or if you have doubts about whether your diet is healthy enough we can discuss it here and hopefully you can make ammends.

I agree with nycgirl, but the statistic she gave doesn't seem very reliable to me.. I'm 5'4" and I maintain 95 pounds on 1500 calories when I don't exercise. And I lost my period getting like 1300 calories a day. But it can obviously be a number of reasons, not just eating too little.
