Any girls ages 14/15/16 that want to lose between 5-15 pounds and want to be each other's motivation/competor?
Ok. So I am the only one of all of my friends that wants to lose weight, so I'm wondering if any girls that are 14-16 that want to be my weight losing partner. I want to lose 15 pounds by the end of August and I know that if I had someone who was in the same boat as me that I was sort of competing against to lose the weight that I would lose it. This would be pretty much like having another person kick you in the butt if you don't want to work out. If you are interested and actually need to lose weight (I don't want any of you wannabe anorexics!) please give me your info.

I weigh 130 (ok, well it actually depends-my bodies being weird)
I'm 5"5
I want to lose 15 pounds by August 31st and be able to wear a bikini and look amazing
I am doing 2 hours of cardio everyday (I started this July 8th)
I am doing the Toning for Teens Workout

Ok Tomato, I just looked up your BMI if you weighed 95 and I guess it is healthy if you are between 14 and 16. I think you should start incorporating some weight training into your workout!
Wow Luv! I just looked at your profile! Congrats on losing 45 pounds! That's fantastic! So you're trying to lose 15 pounds in 7 weeks like me? Well then, what's your info and what type of plan are you following?
You are 4 inches taller then me, if I was your height I would be only a few pounds less then you... not to mention I am built light so my bones arn't as dence as other peoples.

About 1200 cals a day.. cardio for about an hour and lots of water. I like to use the snacking method to boost my systeme. So I have about 8 meals a day.. I find it works. I've actully lost about 15 pounds but I just recently joined this site so it doesn't show.

Yes I'd like to, I try ride around 8 miles or so at least 1ce a week and i do sit-ups and such, Idk I just kinda started off from a little fall back again ^_^ sooo I'm takeing obsticals day by day, I've always been on my own plan, lets hope I stick to it this time! lol! how bout u?
Well, I'm currently not sure if I should be eating 1200 calories a day or more because I have been on an unfortunate plateau for the past ten months! If you guys ever want to try a weight training thingamajig then try the Toning for Teens. Btw: a hint is if you're on a plateau, try to switch it up to keep your body surprised. I know it sounds kind of hypocritical to say this, but I found out yesterday why I have been on a plateau for so long. Are you guys willing to actually make this a competition?
Tomato, that sounds a lot like what's happened to me! I lost 20 pounds last summer, but, because it was so long ago, I feel the same as I used to. I currently wish I could look like Jessica Alba and that is my goal (lol)!
Around how many calories are you eating daily if you don't mind me asking.
haha all i want is to be average... ive always been soooo... Fat :O i said it... Fat has become a sort of fowl word.. if u say some 1s fat its like a sin... if ur fat its somthing horribble.. i hate that.. but anyway back on topic lol, yea, ive always been sooo big i just want to be average and healthy :] when i started this out all i wanted was to be pretty.. but now.. its like.. idk so much more... I want to do this to be healthy and live a good life ^_^
To answer your question, I am eating, well up until yesterday I though I was eating 1200 calories daily, but it turns out I was eating quite a bit more, but today I ate about 1400 calories because I wasn't sure how much I should eat. I think i'm going to stick to a 1200 now though. I don't know. Over the past 24 hours I have gone back and forth between 1200 and 1400 about 10 times. I read on the forums that eating more makes a plateau go away and I also don't want to go into starvation mode because I'll just gain back all of the weight. To Luv, I know how you feel. Last year, my first year of Junior High, I made friends with the popular girls and this was when I was still overweight, and although one of them was truly my friend, the prettiest and yet ugliest (on the inside) girl would be pretend nice and then I could definitely tell she was calling me real mean things behind my back, so I started a diet last summer and now I just want to have a really toned, healthy, and fit body. Sorry for the long story (lol)

OMG! NEVER DO ANYTHING FOR A BOY! Especially lose weight! If you want to do it- do it for yourself. I realize you've changed, but just for future reference! lol. Ya that girl that was the total b**** is actually completely hated by everyone this year. Actually, all of the pretty popular girls are which is awesome because it shows that some of the kids in my school are not completely superficial. I officially started hating her when, at the start of grade 8, she told me that I looked completely different and i STARTED to look skinny. Omg I remember wanting to scratch her eyes out when she said that!
