Apparently the trip was wonderful, better than she expected. She's got seriously limited internet, but she sends love.

I'm so glad to hear the trip went so well.  I can't imagine the stress level for her with uprooting and resettling yet again.  But she's one tough cookie and if anyone can do it, she can.

I think she needed to remember that.

Well, I PM'd her and told her that I thought that about her.  Not sure how much it helped.  It's a heck of a bunch of stuff to get your head around.  Would be for me anywho.

Meh!  I'm not gonna let the bas**rds get me down.  I get in a funk for a day or too and then being in a funk pi$$es me off 'cause I'm not a Negative Nancy kinda person.

My Mom had a saying "It's a great day to be alive" and she said it every day, even after she was diagnosed with the brain tumor and given less than 3 months to live.   Makes me think "Who the hell am I to think *I* have issues!!!"

And she's right, every day IS a great day to be alive.  Consider the alternative!

Today is a great day to bathe in the blood of your enemies!!
