5'2 girls post xmas looking to loose 10lbs!
New year, new determination post christmas! Currently at 117 lbs and feeling like really need to slim down 10 lbs.
Anyone else 5'2 or similar height with similar goals care to join me?
Wow. I'm already finding this encouraging! After feeling I was the only 5'2"-er in that weight range. Glad to know I'm not the only one in this position. Not sure my body will let me get lower, but hey - I'll never know if I don't try. As far as a particular day to weigh in... A few people already said they weigh in on different days. I'll probably check in on Fridays - haha before the weekend :) I'd say just keep up with your normal weigh in schedule, and check in once a week.
I'm in. 5'1 and 112 right now and really need to loose about 5-8 lbs. Count me in!
down a lb so already going ok and thats been with slightly irregular eating over the new year period! ready to get back into routine now all the new year stuff has passed and hopefully watch the weight drop off! should be fine as long as i don't have any binge relapses!
I'm about 5ft, 100lbs, looking to lose 5-7lbs....how many calories do you ladies eat? How active are you? I find it really hard to find a balance btw calories as a small person!! My BMR is 1250 and to maintain I need around 1750 - its so easy to go below or over if you don't count EVERY morcel or excersize!! I'm trying my best to eat around 1400 then get in about 1-200 cals of excersize burned a day...lets hope it worksQ! Good luck!

hoping to get back down to my pre-three week holiday vacation in a week or so.
I'm 5'2 and am about 109-111.. wanna get back to my summer weight of 105... Burned 500 cals y esterday and today in spinning class. I'm off to a good start!

Hehe - Student teaching started this week. Hopefully the set schedule (you gotta eat when they give you the lunch break... oh back to the schedule of a child
) and the busyness will get my eating back in check after a rough few months of messed up eating patterns and I can start seeing some results. Keep it up everyone! And I'll be checking in on Friday!

If it's any motivation, I lost 20 lbs. during my 4 month student teaching, without exercising! It was simply from the set schedule, scheduled eating, adding in breakfast!, and of course changing my eating habits. You should be all set :)
Really? That's awesome! I've been able to still get my exercise in so far this week, but I know as the weeks go on things will become quite busier. But still, definitely encouraging! Thanks for the motivation bbfxvtub!
Hey! Hope you don't mind if I slip in. Since I was last here, I'm up to 115, and have been having some pretty enormous issues with not knowing how much to eat, restricting too much since I wasn't counting, going nuts over food like it's nothing, and now.. I want to feel completely thriving in my body again. Along with a whole lot of strength training and stretching, that requires a bit of weightloss; wanna get down to 107, and do it healthily for once. The focus this time isn't on slimming down, but on feeling absolutely revitalized and full of confidence. Yee yee yee. I think you guys'll be great motivation to stay on track and not try to achieve anything unreasonably quickly. So much luck, let's do this. :)
Well, well, well - I decided to step on the scale when I got home from the gym tonight and 112.5. Really?!? That was quite exciting. Not sure if I really believe it. Maybe it's the extra bloating and sodium from the holiday season coming off. I can't help but think it's not true. Ha. But it did read that three times in a row (Just had to make sure...)
Welp, it's my weigh in day... 110.2 lbs. this morning.

I am down 2 pounds, 8 more to go! It's taken me awhile to get here though, so it'll probably be a couple of weeks before I see any more change. By the way, what do y'all think is a good goal weight for our height??? Mine is lower than others' but I'm still chubby-looking with a muffin top lol. I don't wanna post mine anymore cuz I'm worried I'll get lecture.
I don't know how much I weigh... I havent weighed myself for months since my scale is broken AGAIN... I'd say somewhere around 110lbs. Meh all my clothes still fit so that's a good sign!\
I would ideally like to get back to about 104lbs, anything less and I look like a skeleton.. but I'd settle for 108-110lbs
I've learned that it's more about how you look and feel as opposed to how much you weigh.. bodies are judged on how they look, no one cares if you weigh 100lbs or 120lbs AS LONG AS YOU LOOK GOOD AND HEALTHY.. you are your own worst critique!
eat right, stay active, tone up...
and demure i have a very bad feeling about your posts.. you've lost that weight way too quickly, and i have heard things about you only eat about 600-900cal a day... lets not go back down that road... i think 100lbs is too small for your body anyways, and your not even getting there in a way that will allow you to maintain it... seriously re-access your goals
