Girly issues - such as I'm late (and def. not preggers)
This week I drank a lot of soy milk. For 3 days straight I had a full cup with carnation instant breakfast and a little bit of Whey powder.
I'm also had a lot of yogurt recently, plain nonfat organic kind.
Could this be affecting my cycle?

soy can sometimes mess with ur cycle if you are sensitive to it. additionally, messing with your fat content of your meals and exercise can place you early or late. dont worry about it unless you dont get it for 3 months straight and then see your dr. or if you start having continously longer cycles of more than 35 days. or extremely heavy painful cycles.
stress and all that can play a huge part too. just relax and it will come when it feels like it. and its pretty normal to skip a month here and there.

for sure. it caused a few ladies i know to have a miscarriage and two of the sons had ... i dont know what its called, but when the testicle is still tucked inside the body.
Wow! I'm def. gonna lay off it some then! What about regular milk, can this mess with you too? I don't drink regular milk unless I have some idea that it's organic....
well, milk has been known to cause huge spikes and then dips in blood sugar. it's not good for people with diabetes. i try to stay away from it as much as i can. it made me wet the bed when i was a kid.
some people are just fine with it though. maybe get milk that doesn't have tons of horomones added, organic or something :)

there isnt any evidence that soy milk causes undescended testicles or miscarriages. especially not undescended testicles. its a very common condition for baby boys.
I agree that there's no evidence that it causes undescended testicles, but I know a few women who started having soy products and had problems. There's anecdotal evidence that it effects older men. I'd just see how it effects you personally :)
anytime I have ever made a change of any sort in my diet or activity level it screws with my cycle I feel it is just your bodys way of adjusting to change and a healthier cycle period kimmy245 hope that makes you feel a little better
When I was eating very little and running, I lost my period for 4 months (I think I went through 20 pregnancy tests). I went to the doctor, and she told me to take a break from running. I did, and I got my period the next week. Never did start running again.
I believe soy contains phytoestrogens... basically a plant version of estrogen that will mess your body up.
It's never a good idea to eat too much of any one thing....you should change your diet up all the time.
