Hi Everyone!

I just started 3 days ago and I am really motivated at this time, so I would like to lose as much as possible early on before my excitment about eating healthier wanes. My ultimate goal is to lose 90 lbs. I believe if I really work for it I can do this by years end. I've lost 6 lbs since Feb1st, hopefullly I can keep this up for at least 2 mos which would put me around 24 lbs lost. This would be a great motivation to leap forward! Is anyone else up for the challenge?

Hi,

I'm only looking to loose 15 lbs all together. I started on the 1rst too and have lost 4 lbs. It might be posible to loose 10 in a month. So I'll give it a try too!

Count me in. I am down 14lbs since Jan 5th. Goal to be at goal weight by Christmas...60lbs to go. Secondary goal....to loose enough weight to be willing to wear a swim suit and swim with my kids this summer. I am in. Let's do this. My dietitian says that although 2lbs a week is a aggressive. It is doable...and that at this pace I will meet goal. I read about people on here who have lost more than 50lbs and am amazed and awed. I wish they would post how long it took...
me too!! i would like to lose 10lbs a month as well. i have over a hundred ounds to lose. from feb. 1 i have lost 4lbs. so should we just weigh in on the first of every month??

I am definitely up for this too! Need to loose about 30lbs, so that would be nice in time for Summer or thereabouts! :-)

Hi eveyone!

I'm so excited that we are going to do this together! I am actually eating more food (more veggies instead of junk). I love cabbage and broccoli and they are pretty low calorie, more water and tea are also becoming a staple in my diet. I think the key for us to reach the 3lb mark is to exercise at least 4 days a week 20 min to at least get our metabolisms revved up! I am very lazy so no Tae Bo or anything like that for me just yet. I do have an exercise bike. I put my headphones on, blast my favorite music (to distract my brain from what my body is doing!)and just pedal.I also think it would be good to visualize something you would do/wear if you were your ideal weight. Any other suggestions to keep the 2.5-3lb a week goal?I think we should weigh in once a week (Sunday if possible)

 I lost 10 lbs Last Month.  I am trying for the next 10 this month but lost about 2 lbs so far.  Would love to join your girls.

Can you try all protein and green vegetables diet for 3 to 5 days and see what the diet will do for you?

I would love to join.  I'm 20 pounds shy of my goal weight of 160.  I started Jan. 2007 at 242 and to date I weigh 180.   It has been a long road but if you stay motivated it can be done.

I am 5' 8.5" and weigh 155. I would love to lose 10 lbs a month until I get to about 130-135 (I will have to see when I get there)! I would love to be in this support group. I need the support.

Sounds great.  I have been trying and not loosing much at all.  On 1200 cals and 1500 cals diet alternate weeks.  I have been exercising atleast 4 times a week for 45 mins.  I am 5'2" and at 201 so I have a long way to go.  Please count me in also.  I need some encouragement and support from you all.
I'm in! I've lost 11 pounds since I started and now I'm at 154. I'm 5'4" and my ultimate goal is 130. I work out doing body pump or spin at the gym 4-5 days a week and a hike on the weekends. My calorie intake is 1500, but I usually eat around 1400.

I'm in. Started at 230 lbs. on Feb. 6th. Today I'm at 226. Looking to get to about 180. Thios web site says I should be at 148 lbs. which to me would probably look sick, or like a crackhead. I was 150 in the 10 th grad, and I just looked at some pictures, NOT GOING TO HAPPEN! 180 (50 ponds to loose) foe me...

Count me in girls. I am 5'7 and 163. Down 8 lbs since the 11th of January starting at 171. Goal weight of 130-135 (it's been forever since been there might like the way I look at 140-ish. Will re-look when I get there. Let's go girls!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
IM IN!  I want to lose about 70-75lbs.  Pre-ttotm I was 198.  Started at 205!  Im vegan so it's not hard for me to eat healthy... the only think that gets me down are french fries.  I have to admit though, this month has been hard cause 2nd semester has started and im going to St. Louis for a convention on Saturday.
I'd love to lose ten pounds a month.

I'm vegan too! =] So it's easy for me to eat healthy, I stay away from processed sugars and all things sweet, so it makes it easy.

I'm at 178 right now and I'd like to get down to 115-120=]

(My highest weight was 199, that's when I realized I never want to see 200, no offense to anyone=])
