Hey there! My roommate and I here at school are thinking of trying to loose 15 pounds by the end of the semester.  Our semester ends on May 8th.  I obviously want to take the weight off and keep it off, so we will be doing this in a healthy manner.

 

Anyone else in?

I am 20lbs (172lbs, 5'5') overweight and want to lose weight. I want to take up the challenge.

I'll join in with you guys.  I'm out of school now, but I have a family reunion at the end of May and I'm hoping to be very close to my goal by then.  I think I can do fifteen by then.  I will weigh in on Saturdays.

I'm in! My birthday is mid-May, so I'd like to be less heavier in my new birthday suit! Smile

I will weigh in on Saturdays too.

My 21st birthday is May 16th, I wanna lose 16 by then... So I'm in I am weighing in every other friday satarting next Friday :)

I have about 20 lbs to lose. My husband will be gone for a month so no junk food in the house should make it easier! And ten lbs less should make him happy when he gets back!

Sorry I didn't weigh in yesterday.  We had a part Friday night and I drank probaly a day's worth of calories in red wine, so I didn't want to weigh myself yesterday.  Anyway:

Last week- 151

Today- 144.4

Goal by May 8th is 130 so that's 14 pounds to lose.

Hi all!  I would like to join, I have never really joined any groups that ppl actually keep posting on...so hopefully this will be one lol.

I am getting married April 22nd and I wanted to loose the weight by then, but it looks like I wont get to my goal till May as well sooo here goes it.  I will weigh in on Sats too...cause it makes more sense to all weigh in around the same days...

So a bit about me, female 26 5'5"

Starting weight 160

Current weight 131

Goal weight 125 short term 120 long term

I work at a bank sitting all day so I have myself at 1200 cals a day.  About 6 months ago I fell off the wagon with working out and excersize in general so I am going to try and get back into that.  I am sick right now though so I am going to wait it out until I am better. 

So how is everything going for everyone so far?  what is everyone doing to loose the weight?  Tell me about yourselves Smile

 

I am pretty new to this whole posting on the forums thing cause i just used to log cals on here...but I think it might be helpful to have ppl to work toward my goal with...

Well, I told my husband about this and that I needed to buy a scale to weigh in. He told me NO!

Last time I was trying to lose weight the scale really kept my spirits down. So this time I am going to go by how my clothes fit.

 If thats ok with everyone for me to still be in the group?

Emily, I have that same problem so I am forcing myself to weigh in every other friday so I don't get upset about it.... my boyfriend wasn't too happy when I brought it home.... he knows how I get :)

 Well maybe we can weigh in on the same day?

I am honestly afraid to see the scale. It makes me nervous to even think about it.

On the bright side, a pair of my slacks that were too tight to wear three weeks ago were comphortable again today. So that made me happy.

 

 

Sounds good to me.... although this week will not be a good weigh in for me because it's that time of the month :( Sheessshhh. How I am going to do it is I have lost 5 pounds since pre that time last month, so if I have lost 5 pounds from what I was weight in at that time last month I'm good.... Idk if that makes any sense....

Ah! Sorry I haven't been keeping up, friends.  School has been WAYYY hectic.  Its hard for me to weigh in too, because I don't have a scale here at school so I am going to way in when I get home for spring break on Friday!  My roommate is not really keeping up with this but, it makes me feel good that I can stick to it.

 

Hope everyone is doing wonderfully!  I'll let you know my progress by the end of the week!

So i'm 144.4 today.  So far I'm down about 5 pounds from 2 weeks ago!

I'm down 3 since the 25th.  A little disappointing, but I'm working on it!

3 in a week and a half is a good rate of loss.  It's also three less pounds that ou have to work on losing.  Keep it up!

I'm in! I graduate from college the 9th! And would love to be at my mini goal of 120 by then! I'm currently 132!

hey guys, looks like we've all taken a break from this forum. I'll post anyway;)

I started at 151.0 on 2/21.  Today I'm at 142.4, so thats about 8+ pounds off in a month.  It's more than I thought I would lose.

Anyway, I'm on my way to my goal of 130 by May 8th...I think it's reasonable.

But it's going to get much harder from here.  Everytime I get near 141 my body really starts fighting me.

its seems as if I've hit a stupid plateau because of spring break.  but i'm back on track now and ready to go.
