Goal Weight vs. Target Weight?
What's the difference between these two on CC? Two very different dates. Confused...
I think the date for the goal weight is the date you enter as your goal. I think the date for the target weight is the date the system predicts you'll reach your goal if you lose 1 pound per week.
Yeah, that's funny though because on the goal weight I don't put a date, CC figures it out based on the calories counted...or, maybe it's about the calorie limit that I put in vs. the calories...OK, I just lost it.

Goal date is the date you choose (or cc chooses). The target date is based on how well you are doing. If your goal date assumes you are loosing 2 pounds a week but you have really only been averaging 1.5, then the target date adjust for lesser amount moving the date out. It will also move the date in if you lose faster but will probably give you a thumbs down for losing too quickly.
