So I see someone starts a monthly goal list every month so I thought I would try this.
Today is July 31st. We all set goals at the begining of the month and again we wonder what is everyone's goals to accomplish this time. Have you reached your goal weight yet? Is their obstacles in the way. What do you plan on achieveing this month? What things would you like to change from what you did last month and what are you going to do differently? Will you drink more water, consume more proteins?
I have been stuck on reaching my goal weight of 130 for the past 3-4 weeks now and it's a bit upsetting. I am currently 134 so this month will be lots of focusing. This month is going to be different! I have listed some of my main goals this month What are yours? How can we help everyone out to accomplish these goals! Maybe some of us will read others and be motivated to follow some rules. I hope everyone has great month and please keep checking in.
August 1st - August 31st goals:
EDIT: I know a lot of us would like to tone our abs some more so I posted this a while back. It's a really great abo workout which only takes about 15 minutes so just posting it here so some of us can add it on to our goals.

August is a scary month for me. I'm going on vacation for three weeks. One of those weeks, I'll be with my parents, so that only scares me a bit, but the other two I'm going to be travelling around the UK by train.
=(
As if being healthy on a vacation isn't hard enough, train travelling, youth hostels, rushing time, saving money... that does not help being healthy at all!
My goal is to come back with the same weight at least. Because of the circumstances, exercise won't be an easy addition to my days. So I want to walk around a lot, which is probably a given since we'll be sightseeing every day, and dance my butt off at night when I go out with my friends. That should give me a good cardio =P
Good luck for everyone else.
PS: I've read a few times on the forums about people incorporating an abs workout every day. Where do people read that they should do it that way? As abs are a muscle like many others, they also need the rest time. I dont understand why people will work other muscles every other day, but when it comes to abs they ll do it every day. I'm just curious where people have found the information that they should do it that way, because I've always read to have a days rest after a day of work out.

- Not go too overboard on festival weekends
- Drink no less than 2liters of water, but try to get 3liters
- Walk in the mornings and afternoons between my office and my husband's
- Take the stairs up to my office at least a few times a week (15th floor)
Goals:
Drink a gallon of water a day.
Stay under my calorie goal.
Cut prossessed foods as much as possible.
Continue doing pilates and weights twice a day.
Keep a calorie deficet of at least 4,000 a week.

yayayay. new month -- new goals! alright!
i made my last months goals which were to break 150 and to log my food every weekday and wake up early to go the gym...
goals for august:
lose a total of 4 lbs, preferably one a week, but i know it doesn't always work like that. that'll get me down to about 145 (YEEEESSSSS!!!!!)
be able to run 4 miles without stopping (i can do about 2.5 now)
cut back my weightlifting to 3-4 times a week, but do it HARDER, so i'm SORE and see better results.
instead of giving myself all weekend without logging, just give myself one day without logging.
and finally, get my water consumption up a little cuz i was starting to slack

have gone downhill and imagine i have put on loads of weight but too scared to check. been a fortnight of backsliding and have to stop NOW...the plateau really hit me. so i'll take stock today and look at a diet to get me back on track. i will re assess all the figures that the tools display and see if a cant get the right balance of carbs prots and fat.
intend to eat more fish, lean chicken, eggs a couple of times a week and NO NO bread. its the ruin of me, i have been doing 8 slices a day almost. am not a great one for veg but stir fry veggies when nice and crispy are ok so will try to have them most days. plus fruit. will also enter the exact cals
also will be a bit more realistic with the exercise. i'll count pedometer readings as part of daily allowance burned and if a do an hour cycling i'll enter that as extras. does that sound okay, anyone? am desparate to get back
