Im 5'3" and 120LB I want to be 90LB again. I am 14.
I eat 1500cal per day. Usually less. How about you?
Is anyone here?
You do realise that that's drastically underweight, right?
I'm 101 lbs right now, 5'3'', and am still underweight. Ten pounds lighter and I just barely made it out of the hospital -- my heart was doing horribly, and my pulse was scarily low. Losing weight like that can seriously mess with your fertility your bones, and at this point in your life, the height and curves that you'll grow up to have! For goodness' sake, I wasn't even allowed to walk to and from school for more than a month because of the damage I did.. You're a healthy weight right now, love. If you want to lose to feel happy in that body of yours, go have a chat with your doctor and figure out what makes the most sense for you.
even with a very small frame?
Yes, m'am. Ninety pounds is NOT a healthy weight.
True, true. If I was down to 90 lbs, I doubt I would have any energy at all. I am 5'3" and maintaining 105 lbs, though I'd probably be ok at 110.
I alternate days of taking in 1450-1650 calories, but I think I may need more.
(I have a medium frame)
Yes yes, I too am 5ft 3in and was very much underweight at only 87. I have a medium frame and had absolutly no energy. DO NOT make that mistake. I'd say stay where you are or maybe lose a pound or two if you like but do not go down to 90.
Im 5'3'' and my goal weight is 5 pounds more than what you already weigh.
wow
you must be crazy
but 90lbs is NOT good for any age and any build!!
im 172 @ 5'3 and my goal is 135
if you are 14, you will never weigh what you used to ever again in your life, unless you are dying of starvation. What you used to weigh at age 13, 12, or 11 is not what somebody can weigh at age 14, 15, or sixteen, or any other age for that matter, unless you want to be in the hospital.
If you are concerned about how you look, just workout! It's good for you and gaining muscle burns more calories.
According the BMI Calculator...you should weigh 115 for your age and heighth. It reads, that anything less for you, is considered UN-healthy.
You should consume about 1400 calories a day to reach your goal weight of 115 lbs.
This is at a reasonable weight loss average of 1 lbs per week, which should be reached by March 30, 2008.
Good Luck! And remember we are here for you!
90 lbs is really unhealthy. I'm 5'2'' and when I was 110 lbs I had to struggle to stay there and was really irritable and tired all the time, not to mention weak. I wanted to gain muscle but I couldn't lift very much weight. I've gained some weight and now I want to down get to 115ish, with most of that being muscle. I don't care about my weight as much as my appearance, because muscle weighs more than fat anyway.
i am 5'4" and 105 pounds. i got down to 92 pounds and i looked like a stick.
now i am having mysterious digestive problems, my iron is way low so i am always tired and cold or just out of it. (and yet less so than when i didn't eat, amazingly.) and it's very hard to gain weight in a healthy way than to lose weight in a healthy way. and believe me, if you get down to 90 pounds you will have to raise your weight at some point. or you could just suffer with a weakened immune system and al the other great things that come from a super low body weight.
currently, am 116, two weeks ago, 114, goal weight is 110.
When i was 5'1'', 90 was underweight, i ended up getting to 72 though and was 1 pound away from getting sent to a out pationt clilic.
Listen, My bestfriend and I are both standing at 4'9". She is 89 lbs and I am 139 lbs. A healthy weight range for me and her is 85 to 120 and we are both 25years old. I am slightly overweight for my height and she is 5 lbs from being underweight according to both our doctors!
You are perfect where you are and you will still growing. You shouldn't worry about your weight until you are finished developing physically.
