who's 5'6 weight loss goals are.

I'm 5.6 and from what I've seen 120 lb. for a person 5.6 is underweight. here's a calculator for bmi to help people who aren't sure what weight they should be  to be help guide them in safe healthy weight loss.
i'll settle for 150, but i'd like to see what i'd look like at 140.

I'm 5'6" at 138lbs and been there for 3 months! Have been increasing calories from 1200 to 1585 , gradually to see where I might start to lose but was on a starvation diet when I got down to 130 last year.

Hope to get down to 128. 

I am 5'6" currently I am 141 (I am 40).  I like how I look at 139 (which is the lowest I have been in 20 years.  I decide to go to 135 and try to level my weight between 135-139.  When you get older, being too thin isn't pretty.  As you age you starting naturally losing fat in your face, so if you diet to low you lose even more fat in your face.  If you get too thin it makes you look older.  Some nice curves is what I am aiming for!  Toned and healthy.
I am 5'6, 139lbs.  My goal is 130 lbs.  Lowest weight was 121, but my period stopped at this weight (was this low because of gall bladder problem).  I liked being 127, but that is a difficult weight to maintain.
I'm 24. Start weight 156 ( a year ago) current weight 132. Goal 125.  I have skinny legs and arms and carry all my weight in my mid section.  If anyone has the same stats as me and goals as me PLEASE ADD ME AS YOUR BUDDY! i need it more now then ever... it gets so much harder in the end...

IM_AMY: 5'6 and 120 pounds is not underweight.  I believe the BMI comes up to 19. something and the range for normal weight is 18.5-24.9. and thats using the link you gave me :-)

and youre right, its muchh harder towards the end!

I'm 22 (23 in a few days), 5'6", and currently hovering at around 125 pounds. I have a very small frame so my goal is 118, since back in high school I was at 117 comfortably without dieting or watching what I ate.  I'd like to fit back into some of my high school pants that have been pushed to the back of my closet

I'm 5'6 and my goal is 125. I cosume 2,500 calories a day and do cardio 6 days a week and weight train 4. I'm training to compete in a figure competition and found that when I lowered my calorie intake to 1700 a day I my body seemed to be holding onto fat and when I went from 1700 to 2500 calories the weight started to come off. Im 132 now and battling getting those last 7 lbs off! Wish me luck!

I'm 5'6" and weigh 138.  I'd love to get to 130 but would probably be happy with 135. 

Went shopping this weekend was able to buy some size 6 dress pants....so that was very exciting.

current weight 147lbs (10 and a half stone) 

My gosh, you guys are making me feel bad! My gw is 145 at the very least (150 now). I know I'm athletic, but I'm not an athelete!

I'm 5'6" with a big frame and a starting weight of 265lb. My goal is to weigh less than 200 pounds fully-dressed and at the end of the day (say 195).

I know that's a vastly higher goal than any of yours, but I've been big all my life and I don't want to get too thin and have saggy-baggy skin etc. If I feel inspired to continue I might go for 185 to get down to 'overweight' BMI (and this dieting thing is so painless I might well do that) but I want to get to my first major goal before I start moving the goalposts again.

(I just checked the BMI calculator and 150 would put me at a 'normal weight' with a BMI of 25 on the nose. I couldn't even begin to picture myself at 120 - I'm sure I'd be skin and bone!)

 TETO is right and don't feel bad.  My first goal was to get to 150 to feel good! My Happy Weight is 144 and Idea weight for my medium frame is 130, 137 or 115 - 154 range, depending upon which calculator one uses so it's all a matter of choice and health.

I want to go to 128 to get rid of flab in thighs and hips, then probably will try to maintain at 130 - 135 somewhere.  My doc said I was already too bony in my shoulders at my current 139.

My goal is to get down to 125, but be more toned (especially in my stomache area). Then I will decide whether or not to lose another 5 pounds to get down to 120 or not.
I'm 5'5 and 1/2"....I weigh some random number between 110 and 120( no joke, it changes almost every day, even when I weigh myself at the same time. I really just want to tone up rather than lose...but the good old eating disordered part of me demands that I drop to 100.

It's a strange sort of balancing act.

i'm eighteen, 5'6", currently 140lbs and my goal is to hit the low end of the 120s and see what i think. 

i'm not a huge fan of looking too thin, so i'm reserving my "final" goal until after my family sees me again (i've been away for 6 months, just under 4 to go). i'm thinking i'll probably wind up around 125.

I'm 21. My goal is 130.
I started at 165, down to 150. :]

 

I'm 49, started at 169.7 now two weeks later 166!! Felt my best at 38 years old and 120, but I'd be happy with 135-139

I'm 14, now I weight 134 or 133, I'm hoping to get down to 126!!!
