5'6 goals?
who's 5'6 weight loss goals are.
My goal weight is 120=]
i'm 5'6", 240 pounds, 21 years old, and my goal weight is around 150. i carry my weight INCREDIBLY well. when i was 180 pounds i was a size 8/10. so 30 more pounds would put me around a 4/6 (i'm estimating, it could be more like a 6/8). that would be perfect. yeah, my bmi would be a little high (according to my doctor, but i think it's all in perspective), but i think that would be the perfect size for me. i can't WAIT!!
i think i would look anorexic at 120lbs! ive gained the freshman 15, and i want to at least be what i was before - about 135lbs. from there, i will decide if i want to lose more. 130lbs would probably be a perfect weight for me.
i think you should focus more on how you look rather than on the number. whenever you feel and look great, throw out the scale! putting too much worth into a number can be destructive, and it will drive you crazy!
Hi there... I am 5'6" My first goal weight was achieved... 160lbs by April 1st Yay!!!! ( I am at 158 right now). My second goal weight is 155lbs by April 30th, 150 for May 29th, 145, for June 30, and My ultimate goal is 140lbs. I am building lean body mass as well as loosing fat, as well as an anoriexia survivor so I don't think that anything lower then 135lbs would be healthy for me. Although everyone else here is so ambitious I feel like I should make a lower goal weight!
I'm 5'5 1/2" medium frame, almost 24 years olds, and my goal weight is 140. That is less than I weighed in High school as a cheerleader at my fittest, so once I get there I'll see how I feel and try for more if i need to!
I just want to lose the flab, go down a few pant sizes, and look good in a bathing suit (or birthday suit!)![]()
I'm 5'6" and my goal weight for now is around 114.
I currently weight 117.8 lbs, so hopefully I'll soon be at my goal. I've been hovering around 117-118 for a couple weeks now though, so you never know.
I, too, can't believe so many 5'6"-ers want to weigh 120! Like MissVirgell said, I weighed over 120 when I was a fit and thin high school cheerleader! I guess it's just different body types -- I could only be 120 if I were seriously ill or in a famine.
I'm 36, have hovered between 145 and 150 most of my 30s and then somehow crept up to a horrifying (for me) 165. Ugh. I've been working out religiously with a trainer since November last year and have gotten a lot more fit, though haven't lost weight or much in terms of inches where I carry almost all my weight -- butt and thighs. But I'm committing now to serious calorie-counting and it seems to be helping. 2 pounds down this week!
Goal is 140 by the end of the summer. I feel like that weight is healthy and sustainable for me. I just want to feel comfortable in my clothes and possibly wear a bathing suit without wanting to puke. At that weight I would probably be a size 8 in pants and 6 in a skirt or dress. I'd be super-happy with that.
I'm 37 and I'm aiming for 140 lbs. I started at 160, am now 150. If I can get to 140 I may try for 130 but I don't see myself ever getting below 130. I haven't been that since high school. Even BK (before kids) and I was at the gym 5 days a week.

At 5'6", medium frame, 138-140, I've been trying to get flab off for 4 months but it looks like it will only come off with lower weight. My flab is fat not drooping skin.
I'm 5'6 and am currently 159, wanting to get to about 145, that's where I feel the best, was at 130ish for about 5 years but had to work at maintaining it, and was really thin and cut, I'm fairly muscular too so I'm sure that factors in too with what you can carry weight wise and how you look with it. My body is 'comfy' at 145 and I don't have to work too hard at keeping it there, just have to be observant when I start to 'move in the wrong direction' and get back on course. ![]()
I'm 5'5 1/2 and 181 (I started last month at 184, gained a couple of pounds and lost some). My immediate goal is to get down to 150 and see what I look like. My goal weight is 135-140. I haven't been below 150 in 10 years!
I was underweight until college, fluctuating from 104 to 125. My ideal weight was 130 when I got married at 27. then I gained 30 pounds!
I never worked out and gained muscle so I really don't know what I'll look like under 150 lbs.
I'm 5'6 and I am 126, I started at 150 about 2 years ago. I just started calorie counting almost a month ago. I am 28 and my goal is 115 bu August for my wedding. It's funny because people say "You have lost so much weight, be careful" The funny thing is I'm not starving myself or anything, I'm just watching what I eat and working out. I do feel so much better, but still not completely happy with myself...
I'm 5'6" and I just want to be around 135. Hell, I just want to get my body fat to ~19%, I don't care what weight.
5'6-5'7 158 goal :135-140
I've been going through a lot of stress the past few months and I am hoping with summer coming around the corner i can relax and drop the weight!
I'm 5'5 1/2" and my GW is 144. I have been that weight before and looked really good.
Hi everyone!
I'm 5'6 also, I'm currently at 126 and my goal is to get to and maintain 115.
Hope to get there by June 1st, but going overseas in a week for a holiday and am not looking forward to the scales when I get back!
I'm 32 yrs/o, 5'6", SW- 126pds, CW- 121pds, GW- 110-115pds. Definitely not lower than 110 as I start to look a bit gaunt.
115 looks good on me if I can firm my stomach up. I've had 3 kids and even when it's been flat-ish, it's still soft :)
Good luck all!
Just wanted to drop in and say that as much as I think about how amazing it would be to hit 125, my personal goal is about 130/135. Each day I work toward understanding my body and developing a lifestyle that I can maintain for years...
If any of you girls want to share your calorie intake on both gym and 'off gym' days - that would be great. I love to see how people vary, etc.
Happy weekends
Age 24; I'm currently at 147 (highest I've ever been in my LIFE, eek). My first goal is to get back down to around 132 (average weight I used to maintain in college with moderate exercise, no diet), and then try to go lower...120?
The weight I'm at now is with no diet scruples whatsoever...sugar binges galore...etc. I think I have a small to medium frame; no one in my immediate family has ever been more than 15-20 pounds overweight. My mom struggles a little bit like I do, my dad and brother both eat whatever they want and are trim, and my sister is naturally a beanpole (5'7" and about 100-105)!!!
I've started food journaling and am trying to be more vigilant about exercise. We shall see!
Goodness, this seems to be an older post... I wonder how all of you have done.
I'm 5'6" and my long term goal weight is 135 by next spring - for now I'd like to go down to 165 by the beginning of October (I weigh 181 now). I've NEVER weighed below 150 at my current height, so I'd love to see what it feels like :-)
