5'6 goals?
um... i'm 5'6 and i want to lose about 10 lbs
How much do you weigh now?
I am 5'5.5 almost 5'6 :]
I started at 140/135 and the last time I weighed in I was 125/120. [ I have two scales one is digital/one is spring scale i believe the digital more ]
I use two different scales.
I am now gaining muscle though because I want to be strong and be able to eat a lot and boost my metabolism so the goal is trying to get to 115-118 on my digital scale. Eeeek. So I have 10-7 pounds to go, yet I probably will go up first then back down.
I see. I want to weight 140. I am almost 5'7 though.
Yeah - that's good. Congrats. (:
I want to build muscle too, but first I have to accomplish loosing weight. xD
What does your diet consist of?

I usually eat Special K for breakfast, I come home from school - eat a normal (but well-balanced healthy meal), then I eat a salad when I get hungry, and throughout the day I snack on trail mix bars, low fat yogurts... healthy snacks. Not all in the same day, of course.
I'd eat like 5 times a day, but I can't during school. T_T
Then I workout;
10 minutes of weights
100 jumping jacks
30 toe touches
40 squats
40 leg lifts
30 ball crunches
110 sit ups.
It's not a very organized plan, but I'll get more into it in the summer when I have free time to arrange things. -sigh-
I posted a journal about a plan I have, it's not very healthy at all, but like, I feel the need to do it. I have no choice. ):

I eat six times a day. I'm in college.
I eat when I wake up; Shake.
Then I eat at snack - 1/4 Protein , 1/4 Carb, 1/4 Veggie
Lunch - 1/4 Protein , 1/4 Carb, 1/4 Veggie
Snack - 1/4 Protein , 1/4 Carb, 1/4 Veggie
Dinner - 1/4 Protein , 1/4 Carb
Snack- 1/4 Protein , 1/4 Carb
My workout schedule is every other day I do cardio and weight lifts like cardio, upper body, cardio, lower body, cardio, upper body, cardio, lower body ETC.
I do min. 30 minutes of cardio, i mostly do intervals where you do like run 1 min, walk 2, run 1, walk 2.
However long my weights take is how long, I lift heavy so I up it each week. I lift heavy.
I have a free day where I eat whatever whenever every 7-10 days.
=] That's really good. And really organized. I wish I could be like that. xD

Hmm, I don't know. I'm starting to doubt my target now.
I want to be around 140, but everyone my height wants to be 120 or 130.
I do not want to be 120. At all. I want to be like, maybe 135.
I guess I'll have to wait until I'm at 140 to be able to tell. (:

Remember its about being healthy not trying to be like the girls in the magazines. I use to be 118 with muscle and I was maybe just 5'5. I wouldnt mind be 120 with my muscle again because I know that I am healthy. Muscle = heaven hahaha.
I mean if you love to eat muscle is the way to go because when you gain muscle you can eat plenty of calories and not gain an ounce. From your pictures you dont even look that bad at all! So at 140 you will looking stunning I bet. You carry your weight well it looks like. Me at 140 looks like someone the same height at 160 I swear to god. LOL. I carry my weight NOT GOOD which sucks for me. Some girls are blessed and can be 160 and look like 140. Or be 140 and look 120. Or 120 and look 100 you know?

i'm 5'6, currently i'm 120~122lbs, and i'm aiming for 110~112lbs. At my heaviest, i weighed 130~135lbs. Basically, i ballooned out after i stopped being involved in athletics (i was about 105lbs before i started gaining weight.) I started losing weight last year, i think after changes in my diet––less snacking, more regular meals, a conversion to pescetarianism... was at 126lbs for a while, but realized about a month ago that even though i'm not particularly heavy, i'm still terribly unfit from lack of exercise
Right now, i'm hoping to become more fit and to shed the excess pounds. For me, excess is pretty literal because there is an inverse relation between my weight and my energy levels. (when i was 105lbs, i was bordering hyperactivity, but at 130lbs and above, i became utterly sluggish and sedentary.) I've lost about 3~5 pounds since i started counting calories a month ago, and hoping to keep it up! (:

Dont feel bad girl...youre body may carry more muscle than the other girls posting. Get to your goal and then reevaluate but dont go off of others goals. My goal at 5'6" is to weigh 139.5. I carry a lot of muscle and lift often so i think this is a good number for myself, but i will reevaluate when i get there 24.5 lbs to go. Keep at it ![]()
I haven't had my height measured since my last physical... I was 5'5 and that was months ago... I know that I've grown since then... I feel taller xD I'm prettty sure I'm like 5'6ish...
I weight like... 120/125... I don't weigh myself very much, but I was like 122 last week? so I'm sure I'm still there... I would like to weigh like.. anything under 120... I don't know, seeing the scale under 120 seems like such a pretty number to me xD if that makes sense, but I'm sure it's not entirely possible because I do have muscle... but yeah... that's me :)
Yeah, I am happy of how far I came. That is why I am not really worried about if I gain from gaining muscle. In the end I know I will be healthy. As of this morning I have 5-6 pounds to go to where I will be happy with muslce :] It probably will fluctuate ALOT though. I mean one day I am lifting, one day I am running you know? LOL. I really should put the scale away in the closet till my weigh in days on Tuesdays.
You know you just have to organize yourself. I mean your in high school, dont you have like "snack" then lunch? I mean does your teachers REALLY care if you were to eat in there class? Just try eating something every 2-3 hours. Even if its just an apple, meal bar something quick and easy but healthy. OH and pack your lunch! why not you save a lot of money, and actually eat healthy. I pack my lunch everyday. I love chicken and potatoes and peas for some reason! LOL.
Then make an exercise plan, if you have to wake up an hour early to get that workout & shower in then do it. I wake up an hour early every other day. Which I dont like people complaining saying "i am too tired blah blah" [i go to school for almost 50 hours a week and I do auto body so its not like just sitting in a class room I am working on cars constantly] like this is my wake up early day..
Wake:4am
Workout & Shower 4am-5am
Get ready for school & make lunch - 5am-6am
Drive to school&start school - 6am-6:45
In school from 6:45-4:00 <- I eat every 3 hours in school
Get home at 4:45 <- EAT
Start cooking lunch for the next day & cooking dinner - 5:00-6:00
Shower & Relax then sleep by 8:30/9pm.
Basically my other days are like that but instead of waking up an hour early I work out after school right when I get home I go running or swimming for 30 minutes then continue my routine. I actually wrote out a colorful routine :] I look at it everyday just to remind myself. I also made a calender that if I work out & eat healthy I give myself a sticker! 7 stickers = what I want to do [ tattoo, zoo, aquatic center, car show, new outfit etc] Which really keeps me motivated.

I know in the summer I'll be able to make a plan though. And yeah, some teachers care. Others don't.
I tend to not eat in school. I don't know why.
Oh, and if any of you get the chance, and you read my "summer plan" journal, and comment it? I need to know if it's healthy enough to try.
