Where is everyone? Lol.
Yesterday
- Drink 4 bottles of water. Only drank 3. :[
- Stay within calorie limit. I belive I did so.
- Eat a salad. Didn't.
- Eat some sort of fruit/vegetable. Ate a fruit AND vegetable! :D
- Finish my CHEM Lab. Yup! Turned it in as well. :D
- Pick up library's old magazines. Did that too!
Overview, I didn't accomplish two goals.. maybe I have to set my standards a little bit lower. Anyway today my goals will be:
- Drink 3 bottles of water.
- Stay within my calorie limit.
- Eat a fruit/vegetable.
- Read Jane Eyre.
Okay, that should be easy to stick to.
From two days ago
- Drink 3 bottles of water. I did that. :D

Baby steps! Okay, so I didn't exercise today because it's my day off and I'm doing a lot of homework instead so my goals for today are to.

- Work on understanding precalculus
- Catch up with CHEM reading
- Eat a salad/sandwich
- Eat a fruit/vegetable

Hello all-
I know, long time since I've been here. I was trying to go on my own, but I'm up to 162 consistently, so I suppose I should get back on the bandwagon before I see any worse.
I need to start like I used to, by having very simple goals.
1. 1500 - 1700 Calories.
2. 30 minutes of some kind of exercise

So, It's been a while since I've been on here. However, I need to seriously change my patterns of living, so here I am.
I am enrolled in a weight loss class through my college, and its cool, because they assign you a personal trainer, I met with him on Tuesday and I did some weight training. Today I'll be meeting with him for a cardio session. My personal trainer is great, because I can't miss appointments with him, which should keep me exercising.
My goals for today are:
1. Not to Wuss out during my 30 minute cardio session on the eliptical.
2. Drink at least one bottle of water (My sigg bottle, no idea how many ounces it is, but I don't drink that much a day at the moment so its a big step).
3. Only drink 12 ounces or less of soda.
4. Write Archaeology Paper
5. Write Reading Response for Envir. Anthropology
6. Don't eat junk food (Lucky Charms for breakfast not included in the junk food category, yet)
Oh how sweet to see this thread revived. I've been posting my goals in my journal everyday but I'll post them here too:
1) ride bike to work.
2) drink lots of water (much easier when the weather is nice)
3) Roasted veggie sandwich for lunch
4) Egg, potato and toast for brekkie! Try poaching the egg in the microwave. DELISH, FILLING, SATISFYING AND ONLY 320 CALORIES :P
5) Wheat berry salad and salmon for dinner
6) Walk Penny this am
Goals from yesterday:

3. Only drink 12 ounces or less of soda. Yes, I only drank one 12 oz can, which is pretty darn good for me! :)
4. Write Archaeology Paper No, I'll have to do this this morning.
5. Write Reading Response for Envir. Anthropology This would have been extra credit, had I done it. so in short, No.

Okay, so I achieved 2 of my goals yesterday, out of 6, which isn't exciting when looking at the statistics, but I did do 2 pretty awesome ones, I have a hard time exercising, but my personal trainer made it fun, and I did it! I felt like I could go another 15 minutes! The soda intake was way better than it usually is, I believe I usually drink about 3, 20z bottles of soda a day.
My goals for today!
1. Drink a whole bottle of water! (Again, my sigg size bottle)
2. Write Archaeology paper (this am before 10:10 am)
3. Drink 12 oz. or less of soda.
4. Don't eat junk food, like Oreos or cake.
5. Play the wii or ddr this evening (for some fun, relaxed, entertainment and exercise)
6. If I eat out, eat at Subway and pay attention to calorie intake.
FiguretheFat, Good job biking to work, eventually I intend to bike to school, I'm about 1 mile away, but I have to bike my oldest son to his grandmas before I go to school, which makes it a 2.5 mile trail, with bridges and hills, but I did it last year a couple of times.
Yesterday:

2) Eat an early breakfast.
3) Take water in the car.
4) Hang up the new painting.
5) Walk Penny-wenny.
6) Nail down the plan for the weekend.
Yesterdays Goals:
1. Drink a whole bottle of water! (Again, my sigg size bottle)No, but I'm going to today!
2. Write Archaeology paper (this am before 10:10 am)Wrote about 2 pages, but I found out it wasn't due until Monday, so I stopped and ate lunch.
3. Drink 12 oz. or less of soda.Sort of, I only drank 12 oz. of pepsi, but then at dinner time I had some raspberry iced tea (21 oz.) which is almost the same as soda.
4. Don't eat junk food, like Oreos or cake.No, I at one Oreo, 1.5 tiny squares of a symphony bar, and one 60 calorie airhead.
5. Play the wii or ddr this evening (for some fun, relaxed, entertainment and exercise)No, I got back too late and was tired.
6. If I eat out, eat at Subway and pay attention to calorie intake.Yes, I only ate about 280 calories, I got my sub without mayo.
To analyze yesterday, I only met one of my goals, the Subway goal. Even though I ate some sweets and soda, my calorie intake was around 1360 (give or take 10), which I consider to be pretty good. However, that doesn't mean I'm not going to continue to not try harder to meet my goals.
Goals for today:
1. Drink water. (I'm not putting a specific amount, because I won't have my Sigg bottle with me all day, I'll be out running around a bit)
2. Meet with my personal trainer to do weight training, push myself (kind of easy, he pushes me! :) )
3. Don't drink soda until I go to the dinner at 4pm.(Special dinner with friends at a church, a couples only thing)
4. Don't eat sweets until the dinner, when at the dinner, limit to what I know I can find the caloric intake of.
So, today I'm meeting with my personal trainer, going to an Indain trade show, and having a romantic dinner night with my fiance. Since I'm going to be pretty busy, I expect to be able to accomplish most of my goals. I need to gear up, because on Tuesday I'm going to be having Pizza and Soda for dinner.

Yesterday I failed rather miserably at many of my goals. I've got a new list for today and hope to be more consistent:
1 Ride my bike. DONE, USED THE "ROAD" BIKE... 65 MIN.
2) Go on the treadmill. DONE 65 MIN.
3) Drink water.
4) Keep sodium to a minimum by eating plain homemade stuff.
5) Take cast offs to goodwill.
6) Buy a new mop!
7) Recycle bottles and cans.

Yes, but at the dinner I ate like 7 chocolate hearts :( But I fought off the urge to have chocolate as my late night snack and chose wheat bread with peanut butter instead, it has calories, but more nutrition.
I didn't go to the indian trade fair show yesterday, I was too busy. The romantic dinner went well. More fun than romantic, but thats good.
Goals for today:
1. Drink water when I go to my dads house (I am so tempted to drink like 4 cans of soda when I'm there)
2. Limit what I eat at my dads, make sure I can count the calories.
3. Not angry/frusterated over small things (easy for me to do since I'm so busy and constantly packing my childern up to go see or do something.
4. Do everything for myself, don't let anyone get me something, since I'm not working out today I should take every chance to take an extra step when I can.
5. Count my calories (yesterday got away from me, I was afraid to step on the scale today, but it was ok, its a good thing I worked out yesterday.)
I'm going to my grandmother in laws, going on a 3 hour errand, and going to my dads, I need to somehow fit 5.5 chapters of reading and one paper in today... That will be amazing if I do it.

So yesterday didn't go that well on the goals front, however I'm pretty sure I still stayed under 1400 calories. Today I will drink more water, and probably pay in the gym for not drinking it yesterday, the more hydrated I am the better my body reacts to working out.

2. Really push myself while weight training today, work up a real sweat.

Yesterday, I started out counting my calories on this website, then I got busy, however I did count my calories overall and I stayed under 1400. I stepped on the scale this morning and it says I'm up 1 lb. I don't feel too good about that, it makes me wonder what I'm doing wrong... I mean, I haven't entered my cal in this website but I still counted them and didn't go over 1400. Maybe its because I lifted weights yesterday? it makes me feel the pressure to go do cardio today, I just don't know when I'll have time, maybe this evening. Today I will do much better!
Goals for today:
1. Go to the gym for cardio, at least 30 min, see if I can get up to 45 min.
2. Drink lots of water (not counting one smoothie for breakfast)
3. Be positive and smile, even things get really tough.

Well I did good on Wednesday counting my calories and staying under the bar, so that should help since I didn't do much cardio.
Yesterday I got 22 minutes of cardio in before I did my weight training session and then 5 min. afterwards, so that kind of makes up for wednesday. Yesterday I only had 1245 calories ! :) Go Me!
Todays Goals:
1. Continue counting calories (this will be a goal until I don't have to remember to do this!)
2. Drink water (this is a day when I tend to give into food, soda, etc.)
3. Smile :)
