Here is my very weird for me diet. I decided to try this once, where I had no other protein than whey protein shakes and some milk. I am still trying to chug down the last glass of it now. I might do it every once in a while just for the heck of it, but I do miss my Boca burger!!

Like I said in my post I don't know that I could do it again. Tomorrow my new friend will be lentils. They are wonderfully nutritious and they have 17 grams of protein per cup. It helps that I enjoy eating them more than drinking all of that thick whey protein!! They also have a lot of fiber. My fiber for tomorrow rings in at 62....wow....almost double of what I need!!

Mostly the same menu today, but- shades of Molly!- had to try bagged turnips, as the collards were so good and EASY, lol!!! Sooo Gooodd... I had both!!! ![]()
Also, I had a tuna salad- very basic, and awfully good for dinner tonight- of a can of chunk light tuna with 1/2 cup coarsely sliced celery, 1/4 coarsely chopped lg. red apple, and 1 tsp canola mayo. Looked very loose and dry? Expected to add mayo, but it was perfect! Will repeat that dinner- though late eating greens, as was too filling to eat together! Will space stuff out better tomorrow, to help with my most undecided meal- lunch. I have trouble choosing what to eat for that meal! ![]()
May try cooking mini carrots tomorrow- any low cal ideas? ![]()

Maybe for the next week I'll up my protein and try to lower my fat, get my fiber up to 40 g a day, and bust through this. I've also been pretty stressed with deadlines and followup on billing for my business, and finishing up the end of the year, so I guess stress could be playing a part as well. I'll also try to work in another cardio workout to 5 days instead of 4. Any other ideas? It's just depressing to be working hard at working out, making food sacrifices, and not seeing movement on the scale.

Plus inches difference = .75 inch lost on waist, .5 inch lost on hip, 1 inch lost on calf, and .5 inch lost on upper arm (those giant rubber band exercises are working! I'm actually most happy about the tape measure report; that means I getting fitter and leaner, so ups my metabolism and gets things burning. Beside my thighs from the stadium steps last night, ugh. I heart Advil!)
I'll take it! I was hoping for a 7 lb. loss for December; so with holiday moderation, and keeping moving (the mountains of Tennessee are good for that,) I'll keep keepin' on to GO FOR MY (GOLD) GOAL! 'cause I'm a G4GG (a Go 4 Gold Gal...)
Off to work, feeling accomplished. Hooray for protein and fiber!

I had 2 Christmas parties myself, and really didn't enjoy the food. Since I know my mentality the only way for me to really stay with it this week was to go nuts with my diet. I got more strict with myself and I am very happy to report it really paid off.

I reached my New Years day goal earlier this week. (YIPPPEEEEEE!!) Also I just checked, I am no longer severely overweight I am now moderately overweight......wooohooo!

So glad to see someone crawled out of bed. I have had breakfast and just exercised, now I need to get ready to go run around still buying gifts for people. I have only bought a few and there are more that I haven't bought than I have bought. For this reason alone I should be losing weight!!
My DH just called looks like his hours will at least add up to 71 1/2 hrs this week. I miss him being around but the pay will be amazing!!
