SKINNY COW ICECREAM

=^..^= MOLLY

Erin: I will pray for you. I'm a future runner at heart so you can run for me 'ok' or walk! Either one will be really great and I know you will be amazing. You can run for all of us in this forum. We support you!

I just woke up from a long long sleep like one hour and a half--I guess my body needed it-- I think turbo kickboxing really tired me out--I would usually fight going to sleep but I laid in bed, got really cozy and couldn't resist it. I'm not doing too good on calories today but not going to sweat it! I am within my calorie limit but just not making great choices---o'well one bite is a chance to turn it all around!

Right now I have a pot of red beans soaking so I can have beans to eat on all week. I love having beans! I will probably turn them on tonight! Ok just wanted to check in. You are all doing great. Thanks for the support!

Thanks Molly... you know everything!!  It's no wonder you get 50000000 PMs a day, you are a wealth of information Money mouth!

Thank you bootser and hananabanana! I appreciate the prayers, I can't tell you how much.

Hana, we will have to get in touch via pm so we can talk running to your heart's content! I am 29 and started running at age 20. Never really before that. It only took me 6 years to get to Boston. I never even thought I could run more than 2 miles. It's amazing what we can accomplish when we really want it... on that note... I am off to bed to dream of racing great!

Took a fast break to Lurk... Surprised

Wanted to say... Praying for you, Erin!!! Innocent

Have loads of fun and follow whatever guidance your Dr. and/or coaches have given you so you won't hafta' miss any more races...! Keep us posted on when you'll be running so we can all be sure to be rooting for you as you run!!! LaughingLaughingLaughing

I'm sure scenicskye will be, as she's had to endure similar troubles! I'm hoping her foot is doing good, too! Laughing

Wow, rivergrrrl...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Surprised

* snif! *

I've got 13,260 steps on my pedometer so far today...

* snif! snif! *

 Walked like Dances- about 2 miles on our road today...

* wail! *

Even did my weight lifting routine really good today... and remembered to do my stretches... 30 seconds each, and carefully watching the proper form this time... and lots of housework... cleaned the old yucky worse-than-I-knew spill out from under the fridge drawers...And the fridge... (deserves a medal-- that one does-seriously!!!--lol!!!...But I'd rather have a nice 1000 calories burned instead, of course!!!)...and...and... and...???

Oh, just forget it! I'd NEVER catch YOU!!! Tongue outTongue outTongue outWinkLaughing

I've not forgotten my 3 minute stair marathon, either!!! SurprisedSurprisedTongue out

THAT HURT! (My pride!!! lol!!! ) WinkLaughing

Good night, Gang!!! Laughing

Nutrition: 1800 calories. Little high for me but that's ok, I did do turbo kickboxing and on here it said I burned 967 calories, I'm not sure if that is right or not but I think I deserved to eat a little more.

I just made the greatest salad and I wanted to share it all with you ((boots passes the plate))))... Romaine lettuce, green bell-pepper, carrots, celery, pomegranate seeds, orange slices, strawberries and then I squeezed orange slices on it to get some juice on it and then I squeezed fresh lemons--all so good! Just had to share.. Every bite is a chance to turn it all around! yea !

Good morning! It's 6:48 MST and my race begins at 8:40 am. I am having some coffee and preparing my mind. I had a nice wake-up from my fiancee *wink wink* that has set the track for a great day, no matter what happens! 13.1 miles here I come!

WOOOWEEEE! I am glad you are all here ;)

Erin

Let's all Look'it her GOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!SurprisedSurprisedSurprised

Edit for time addition...once I could see it, lol. CC time, 1 hour behind mine.

Hmmm, let's see, it's 10:20 EST, so Elf starts in 20 MINUTES!  Getting that last water bottle in, finding the potty once more, stretching out the quads, and achilles tendons.  Prolly hopping up and down since its a bit chilly (the best time to do a running race, IMHO!)

She'll be taking it easy the first hour, I'll bet, so maybe 5-6 miles, depending on how the body feels, getting the kinks out. Don't forget to take water every 15 minutes or so! It's easy to forget when it's chilly! Then the work begins (when she starts to get a bit tired), but we'll be sending white light and energy for hour two! No blisters or ankle turns, take 'er easy, then it's all home free, for the last bit.

(I do safety biking accompaniment for the Flying Pig Marathon every year in Ohio, ride my bike to watch over either the wheelchair racers, or the second-place woman in the race, so I've been there to see how it all unfolds.)

Go ELF Go! Finish strong, trust yourself, take it a mile at a time. Can't wait to hear the race report!

Wonder how it went!!!!! Laughing

Virtual race watching doesn't tell you enough!!!! WinkLaughing

Hey all, just wanted to check in real quick. Felt awful when I woke up this morning so I headed off to an urgent care clinic to see a doctor. I have been having an ear ache for the past week and half but I just ignored it thinking it would go away. But I woke up this morning and felt really bad  and it takes a lot to get me to the doctor. Not much going on though, doctor just said it was a virus and to take advil, vitamin C and get some rest. He sent off a swab to see if I need antibiotics but it won't be back for a couple of days. I'm not going to count calories today--I know consciously I will stay in my limit but I don't feel like putting everything down. Welp, I'm off to take a nap and hopefully will feel rested enough to go for a walk later (the sun is out so I must go for a walk--if any of you know anything about the Pacific Northwest the sunny days are far in between--far in between---so I hope I get a good nap in so I can go out for a walk later on! Ok, I'm  out

No word on the race??

Well yesterday I didn't post my nutrtion or anything but I was good...even though it was hard! I decided my body needed a break from all of the exercise so I didn't exercise yesterday or today. I got to eat more when I exercised so that is why it has been hard this weekend. Yesterday I ate around 1,300 and still got an A. I did get some exercise cleaning house and then late lastnight we went and cleaned the church. I was washing a mammoth plate glass window while standing on a chair. I went to get down and fell....ouch!!!! I was in between the two sets of front doors when I fell so I ended up hitting my arm on the handle and my head on the glass door and my oversized hip hit the concrete floor. My daughter ran to me and I guess I am fine now, other than bruises. Todays nutrition looks like this...
