Congratulations Molly!!

I am going out to eat tonight!!! I have been obsessing over the scale for several weeks now and it is just not moving fast enough. Tonight will be the first time that I am going to intentionally eat up to my burn meter calories, since I began this lifestyle on Oct. 8th. I may not eat that much but my mind is totally open to it!!! Kids are with my mom and I feel like enjoying pizza!

OK I feel better now and I know I will stop myself from over eating, but I will try to tell my brain to shut up when it comes to eating up to my burn meter limit!! I am still struggling...like I am afraid I will gain 10 lbs in one night. Not really afraid of that, but I don't want to gain. Gonna do strength training when we get home, that should burn a couple hundred calories.

Today I spent the majority of my day up at our church redoing our youth bulletin board. I cut out over a hundred 4" letters for it yesterday and so today wasn't so bad because I got to stick them, they were cut out of contact paper. It turned out pretty cool and kinda looked like pop art. White letters on a bright blue background, and different colors of people figures cut out. The people figures were kinda like the wooden statues that you can buy and shape to help draw figures. I had fun making them have different posses, they were only paper but I moved their arms and legs to look like they were jumping or kneeling or running etc. Glad that is done!! Might try to take a picture and post it in my profile galary, the board is huge, around 14 feet long and 5 feet high. I might not be able to get a good picture since it would have to be from the side.

Wow, just wanted to stop by and say "hey".

Mollie: Congrats mollie (wow factor) you are amazing and such an inspiration! Amazing Amazing.

4sq -enjoy your dinner tonight

RG- I may send you a pm later tonight, a little confused.

Forks: Great food today: I'm wondering about those oats that you had and if Trader Joes has them?

Tamleech: great food: I will pray you will pack

2BB- Great talks, great stuff , great things going on

Does anyone know of any (this sounds silly) low carb fruit?like under 11 carbs for one cup? Maybe time for me to discover a new fruit? Ok, I think I am going to take a nap right now. I usually don't because then my sleeping schedule gets off sometimes but since I have Monday off --I think I will be ok...Nap time for me, catch you later gang

bootser ... check out strawberries, raspberries and blueberries.

=^..^= MOLLY

this post was accidentally repeated... my bad.

Hey everybody, it's CCCCCCOLD. Down to 4 DEGREES here to-nite. Time for some snugglebunnies that we are all so fond of.

We went for some pizza for dinner. (enjoy yours, 4SQ) That's funny, I ate the same dinner as Tamleech last night. Guess all of our tastes ebb and flow together when the weather gets chilly! Ah, portion control. We got the whitemeat chicken, roasted red pepper, black beans, roasted red onions, and lite cheese topper on the garlic wheat crust. Plus a giant salad of baby greens with cranberries and toasted walnuts that we split. SO even had two beers, and finished off the pizza. He taught two hours of spinning class today so we both were starving for our late lunch/early dinner. Twas an enjoyable dinner, and great date out.

Found another house that we liked; tomorrow's the big day to chart everything out and make some decisions on which road we want to go down. (wish us luck!)

WAY TO GO MOLLY!!!!!!!!!! you're like my hero. Omg I can't believe you lost 75 pounds in 5 months.. that's like 13 pounds per month right? WOW!

Low carb fruit booster? Hmm I don't even know if there is such a thing. Baby carrots? Here's a list I got from about.com

Fruits lowest in sugar:

  • Rhubarb
  • Strawberries (more about berries on low carb diets)
  • Cranberries
  • Raspberries
  • Blackberries
  • Blueberries
  • Grapefruit
  • Melons
  • Apricots
  • Plums
  • Peaches
  • Pears
  • Guava
  • Cherries
  • Apples
  • Papaya
These are fairly high in sugar:
  • Grapes
  • Tangerine
  • Oranges
  • Pineapple
  • Kiwi
The following fruits are very high in sugar and generally going to be very infrequent visitors to the low carb diet:
  • Bananas
  • Dried Fruit
  • Mango

4sq...  go for it! Hopefully you survive eating out. Tell us how it went. You work at a church? As what? Do you work with children. That sounds so nice.

Ok people... I was doing so well like during the beginning sort of 'cause I wasn't eating too much and that stuff then the end of the day I had myself a pizza 2 date cookies and hot chocolate. I was like eating half a date cookie then throwing the rest in the garbage then I pick up another date cookie, eat some of it, and throw it back in the garbage. It was like something mental like I know I shouldn't eat it but then I'd throw the rest of it away so I won't be tempted to eat another but then I pick up another and eat it. And then for hot chocolate I like mixed a tbs of vanilla fat free yogurt with the powder in my mug and it turned creamy like how chocolate cake gets when you put the egg and oil and cake mix together. It was cool and tasted Ok but then I put some boiling water in it and drank it and now I'm sort of regretting some of the choices I've been making. I like sat on the computer the whole day reading on how to get organized before school started again and watching videos on youtube =P.

Couple of months ago I found this website about Jenny Beaird and so every week i get a morning success tip and well she emailed everyone on how Jan. 20th is her re birthday anniversary when she believed she could loose weight and kept it off for 5 years!!!! You should read her story: http://www.lifestylereflection.com/JanNews/su ccess_newsletter.html

I sort of like posting what I eat to you guys... I don't know it sort of makes me see in a list format like how much I really am eating. Like I keep a little memo notepad with a pen attached to the binding so it's sort of easy to carry around and log in what I eat. Thanks a bunch guys again it helps to have a crew of people who sort of understands what you're talking about.

I'm going to do this for a week and see what my eating habits are... maybe then I'll crack the code!

As always happy weight loss!

apple butter o.0.. interesting.

Uggh my back hurts I regret sitting on my butt all day! Time to get off the computer.

'Night guys.

Did anyone see that little star next to the Moon tonight?!

Not quite night here yet. Wink  I'll have to check it out.

Chicken's baking in the oven, kids are bathed and I'm tired.  I didn't get a single box packed today, but I did get some cleaning done.  I'm having a slight crisis here.  While I was busy, the kids were watching TV and they lost my Tivo remote!!  Anyone with a Tivo out there that can feel my pain?  I have an all in one remote that can control the bare minimum on my Tivo but won't do any specific stuff.  Anyone out there that does not have a Tivo... YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU'RE MISSING!!  I can watch a show in half the time because I fast forward through all commercials and can pause and watch shows at my convenience.  It's the only way I can watch anything now that I'm out numbered.  (now back to our regularly scheduled diet chat)...

So is anyone else in here close to reaching a milestone like Molly did?  I hit 30 lbs 2 days ago and don't have another big one coming up until May when my hubby returns for a 3 week visit.  My goal is to lose 25 more by then to put me around 150.  Come on, what are some short term goals we've got coming up??

good idea!

short term goals:

save desserts for the end of the day

eat when hungry

.... I know I need some more goals somewhere. Thanks tamleech for the post!

Anymore suffering people out there from high calorie intake and just seems to seem stuck even though that the person has total control of their decisions and all?

Hey everyone! MMMMMMM that was GOOOOOOOODDDDD!!

hananabanana my husband and I are youth pastors, so we do a lot with the teens....we have funWink.

OK I ate what I wanted!! I ate more than I have in over three months, nice to know what full feels likeSurprised

Hey all, I just took a 2 hour nap! I still feel like I could have woke up but I thought it would be great to get up so that I could eat more--I'm only at 800 cals--so Need to eat. Today is the first day that I changed my diet and it's hard--I have to really think about my food choices and I just can't pick anything up---Hmm--Surely, I will adjust soon--Good reads everyone--looks like everyone is doing great!
