Whoo hoo!  Yippeee!!!!!!!!!!!! 

I've been stuck at 49 pounds lost for almost a week, but this morning, the scale finally gave in, and I lost 2 pounds and am now down 51lbs since I started!!!!

That's 5 bags of spuds!  I'm so excited!!  Can you see me dancing around??  :D

Help me celebrate!  I've gone from 284 to 233.  Next major goal = 217, which will be half way to my goal weight.  :)

aysheremzi, welcome to CC!!  I won't say it was easy to do, but it wasn't as hard as I thought it might be.  Mostly, I had to work on being consistent and making new behaviors everyday habits.  Some days, I had to fight off the munchies or--like today--just say no to fresh baked goods or greasy buffet food, but mostly I just had to make a plan and stick to it.  I still eat most foods, but now do so in moderation.  I log everything I eat.  :)

Essentially, I eat 1300-1400 calories a day (a little higher when I started), and my %s are 20-25% fat, 25-30% protein, and 45-60% carbs.  I eat 30+ grams of fiber a day, keep sodium under 2,000mg a day, and drink 100+ oz of water.  Right now, I'm working on adding more fruit to my life!  :D

I also walk for 30-45 minutes 3-4 nights a week and do 50-125 each wall pushups and crunches every other day.  Sometimes I do yoga or aerobics, but mostly I just walk.  :)

My bf has been very supportive and is watching his weight and trying to improve his health too, and that's nice.  Also, this site and all the fantastic people are a great support network! 

And, that is how I went from 284 to 233 in about 4 months! 

If I can do it, YOU can do it!!  And, since I have 83 more pounds to go, I get to watch YOU and everyone else make progress and have successes as I go!  Whoo hoo!  I love this place . . . :D
