Start with vegetables & salads.... all kinds.   Aim to get 4 or 5 x 3ox portions a day as a minimum.  Add in some fruit.... 2 or 3 portions of those wll bump up the fibre.  Choose wholegrain/wholefoods... wholemeal bread, high-fibre breakfast cereals, porridge oats, wholewheat pasta, brown rice.  And make use of pulses (legumes) such as beans, lentils, chickpeas etc.

The foods that don't provide much fibre are things like meat, eggs, dairy products and most heavily processed foods.

Be sure to drink more water as you eat more fiber! Also be careful to increase your intake gradually. Because there`s no telling what your tummy will act like when bombarded with a truckload of fiber out of the blue. Everyone`s bowels are different as to how much of the stuff they run optimally on, good luck finding your amount. :)

Healthy Harvest no egg yolk egg noodles! and Fibre 1

I have a sweet tooth...so I need my sweet fix.

I mix Fiber One Apple Cinnamon Muffin mix with 12 oz of ANY diet soda (the flavor won't affect it), makes about 12 muffins (follow the instructions from the box).

You get 5 grams of Fiber & only 130 calories per muffin.

Another great way to get muffin is cereal such as Shredded Wheat'n Bran (Post) you get 8 grams of Fiber & 200 calories per serving. It tastes (and looks) like wood chips LOL....no seriously, it tastes like no-salt Triscuits.

I hope this helps.

Thank you all for your recommendations.  I have a sweet tooth too, I will definately have to try the muffins.  Once again thanks!
