Hey I figured since we're all on here to lose a few pounds I wanted to see if anybody knew of some really healthy foods. Like random really low-fat or low-cal foods. I absolutely love different Kashi foods personally, their cereal and waffles are fantastic and very healthy for you. I'm also addicted to reduced fat cheezits (i know, they're not that healthy but i can't give them up) and pita chips.
here's a few healthy options that i usually eat:
Kashi Go Lean cereal
Kashi Go Lean waffles
Pita chips
Progresso light chicken noodle soup
Uncorked, organic hotdogs
chicken sandwiches
So everybody should post some good healthy foods that we all could enjoy![]()
here are my staples:
-eggs
-cheese sticks (70 cals)
-source yogurt (35 cals)
-every kind of fruit there is!
-veggies and low cal dip
-weight watchers bread,bagels,buns (100-150 cals)
-sugar free jam (20 cals/tbsp)
-ground chicken (makes great taco salad), ground turkey (made chili with this)
- 100 cal packs of anything
- homemade vanilla rooibos tea misto (made with warm skim milk- 60 cals)
-sugar free jello with a dollop of cool whip light
-diet cola cake (160 cals per slice)
-rice cakes: cracker jack caramel (60 cals)
-homemade soups with low sodium chicken stock and egg noodle
-PROTEIN POWDER!
All things in moderation is my key....

- Papaya (great for breakfast)
- Lean Ham
- Wholeameal pitta bread
- Diet coke!
- watercress soup (homemade, 1tblsp olive oil only)
- Eggs
- Cauldron marinated tofu pieces
- Cod fish cakes
- Prawns (cooked, boiled)
- Crab/crab meat
- low fat houmous
- Weight watchers yogurt (fruity)
- Cherries, figs (in moderation)
- turkey/chiken burgens
- If I'm really desperate for chocolate - Black & Green's 70% cocoa (no more than 35grs)
- All sort of vegetables to go with the above
happy eating!
well im currently 5'3, weighing approx 115-120 pounds
my problem isnt the what to eat part, but rather the portions lol
but heres my list :
-kellogs special k strawberry cereal
-eggs
-chicken breasts
-turkey
-salad with the 10 cal salad dressing
-the ten calories jello
-crystal light and water
-broccolis
-fruits, fruitshakes etc etc
-corn, peas
-chic peas (their really good)
-milk
-lowfat yogurt
-gum
