Would lean pockets and lean cuisine be good or should I go for more fruits?

is that all you're eating today?

yes, add fruit.
I eat fruits like grapes, bananas, and watermelon but the all the lean stuff has more calories.
Oh ok, well however you get your calories in is your choice and as long as its well balanced enough it should not matter if you do lean pockets and lean cuisine.
Yes but you HAVE to eat 1200 cals a day. Dont eat all of that in fruit. Have both :) Plus other meat and bread.
if you are going to eat lean pockets and lean cuisine, drink LOTS of water because they are loaded with sodium :)
I eat a lean cuisine or smart ones almost everyday for lunch but I will also eat a nice salad with lots of veggies and some fat free dressing.  I feel soooo full and its cools cause I get almost all my veggies in one meal.  Then I eat fruit as a snack.
I'm eat some kind of lean cuisine type meal every day for lunch during the week- its easy, quick, portion controlled, satisfies me, and I don't have to lug a lunch bag to work every day.  Sure, they may be high in sodium, but even when I do eat them, I rarely find that I'm over the "daily value".

I should "beef it up" a little with extra veggies or fruit, or maybe even a yogurt though!
I agree with the last two posts.  When I'm in a rush or just feeling tired, I grab a lean cuisine.  But I always, always, always add another big serving of veggies.  I usually get one the Birdseye steam in bag veggie things.  They are high in sodium (500mg - 1000mg), but if you watch your sodium for the rest of the day then it will be fine.
