Howdy All:
Just a quick note. I went to the gym today and went for a walk with the dog. Got to burn 842 calories yeah me. But the big change was taking my three meals a day to five meals a day. I intended to go for six meals but ran out of day. Still making meals three time a day and just eating half and saving the rest. It seems to work well. And the best part was NO BINGE I feel great and I think I can keep this up and over come my biggest and current problem of the late nite binge.
Some day I may actaully make six indivaul meals but for now three divided bu two will work. I do have a question for every one. Today my last meal anded up being at 8pm. How late do you like to have your last meal of the day.

I usually don't worry about how late I have something. As Long as I don't eat anything that will keep me awake. I will occasionally have a little tuna to end my munchies, plus it has L-triptophan which is a natural sleep aid. No coffee or sodas with caffeine after 5pm for me. I don't eat meals per se I just graze all day.
My goal time for the family to eat dinner is 7:30, but most times it is between 8pm and 8:30pm. And we usually have a little healthy snack later on as well.
I think I need to try the 5/6 meals per day like you...I have a hard time w/ that though. I struggle with not eating till I am full just satisfied thing. I want to feel full.
I eat dinner between 5pm and 7pm. My last snack will be somewhere between 7:30 and 10:00pm. I usually go to bed around midnight.
I eat dinner at about 7 or 8; if my calories are still below my daily goal I eat a little snack at 9 or 9:30 - usually an apple but unfortunately lately it's also included leftover Halloween candy! I get to bed between 10:30 and 12:30 and I usually need that snack so I don't get hungry right as I'm trying to get to sleep.
My yoga, my class doesn't end until 8pm and I'm famished at that point so I have dinner somewhere between 8:30 and 9 most nights. I figure it's better to eat a little later and make yoga then to stop by 6 or 7 and miss my class. I can't eat dinner before yoga or I'll get sick.
I never eat much within a few hours before my workout! It makes me feel so, so gross. I also could eat an early dinner before working out or a later dinner after; later makes a lot more sense because of the grossness of working out on a full stomach and the fact that I'm hungry after working out so I'd have to eat a second dinner, pretty much. That's what happens when I work out in the morning - I have to eat two breakfasts.
