Good idea for those who have alot of weight to lose.

To keep ourselves motivated we could buy a pair of jeans a size smaller than we are now & then when we manage to fit into them.. we can buy another pair a size smaller...and we try the new pair on every other week until we fit them!

This could be a great way of SEEING our effort pay off & keeping us motivated : ) What do you think?

I've been doing this since I started!

And this winter I actually found some really cute size 12 sweaters that I know won't fit me for quite a while, but I bought them anyways just because they are sooo cute. Hopefully I'll be able to fit into them by next fall!

I can't wait to fit into the size 18 jeans I have waiting for me in my bottom drawer. All clean and ready to be worn! (Confession, there are 3 pairs cleaned and ready to be worn, and about 5 tops... lol)

I've found I've replaced my food addiction with a shopping addiction. And I'm ok with that! Anything that keeps the food out of my mouth, and smaller sizes fitting, is good with me!

Great idea! I say, do it!!

I do this too. Last summer I bought some really cute "dressy" jeans ...size 12. I was wearing a size 16 at the time. As I lost weight I would try them on. I was excited in the fall when I could button them but still too tight. I am celebrating this week. I actually wore the jeans this week and they were comfortable!!! I can't wait to shop for spring / summer clothes!

I've now shifted my focus to a pair of cute capri pants that I want to wear this summer.

I just did this again today!!

I've been wearing a size 20 for a good 4 months now and finally went into a store today and tried on a size 18, and they fit!! Soooo.... I bought a pair of size 16 jeans lol. Motiviation!
