Hi everyone,

I just joined this group after being fascinated by CC. I am 36 and dragging 238 lbs around after a long, slow, and steady weight gain, I decided I need to turn things around a bit. I am not a believer in gyms or diets. However, I do believe in changing eating habits and having some fun outdoors. I am 5'11'' so I am thinking 200 lbs might be a better fit than 238. Not sure yet until I see the results =)

So that is my plan. I think my main fault has been eating a bit more than I should and those evil snacks that I take too often. Also, the lack of activity is not helping me much either.

In any case, I am glad to be here and looking forward to reading everyone elses stories!

snacking while out and about is what kills me too  I try to keep a potato in my bag at all times so all I have to do is pop it in the micro wave for 4 minutes for a filling snack but some times chips just sound too good
