good restaurants in the city?
Does anyone have any suggestions for favorite restaurants with healthier options in Baltimore? I haven't been living here long and I'm always happy to find new places to go with friends.
Welcome to B-more! The Yabba Pot, a vegan, yet totally delicious, restaurant is on St. Paul St. right below the light on 25th. Also, right off of Charles there are very authentic and very healthy Korean restaurants where you get to cook at your table. I think they are around 22nd or so. Definately a fun and interactive place guranteed to be a culutral eye opener. Sesame and Olive sushi is in Towson, but worth the trip. Also, in Fells Point an excellent sushi restaurant that is tucked away on the last pier down Thames St. It is called Kawasaki and has lots of personality and you can sit at authentic Japanese tables, shoeless and everything. Finally, on Maryland avenue, Dukem, our very own Ethiopian place is always an outstanding choice. Ethiopian is great for vegetarians and super carnivores. Delicious! So, have fun. ~kristi
Helloooo!
Well with sushi being my fave food I can tell you which sushi restaurants are my favorite in the city:
Matsuri's is on S. Charles Street and the atmosphere there is great! It's very traditional and the seating is very cozy with great ambiance.
RA Sushi: is a newer sushi place off of Aliceanna street by the water. It's amazing. It has a very modern feel in the decor and the menu (I'm actually going to RA Sushi tonight!)
Hi!
For another great sushi place try Minato Sushi bar its located at
1013 N. Charles Street ... I love it there! Its a very chill and relaxed place to grab sushi at. It is more on the casual/ dressy side... so I wouldn't go in there with flip flops etc.
Oh and for a nice Vegetarian or Vegan place to grab a healthy bite in Baltimore, try One world Cafe located near John Hopkins (100 W University Pkwy)!!
