A good start--how about you?

Quote  |  Reply
Good morning. I'm sure for many starting the day right is so important. For me too, a good start for me triggers a good day. For breakfast I had cereal, milk and a banana. I am packing a baggy with carrots (2 servings) and grapes (1 serving) for morning snacks since I won't be home. Thinking ahead... gotta do it.

I'm eating birthday cake AS WE SPEAK.  Hows that for a way to start a day? :-P
Busyissie, I'm with you on the "starting right" thing...1 cup oatmeal, 2% milk and coffee...the cake will come later :)  I't my b-day celebration today at work.  Because of that, I will be EXTRA good today and treat myself to a small piece of cake.  Finewine, is it your b-day too?
I had the same breakfast as you did, busyissie! I had special k...skim milk and i cut up a banana. I just had my afterwork out snack. It was a low-fat low cal blueberry muffin that i made. I topped it with my own little concoction of berry sauce and cut up another banana to eat with it. yummm! :)
I had an all natural fruit smoothie, a little high in cals and sugar but I enjoyed myself!

Finewine is evil....  pure evil!
I'm not big on breakfast so I have to make myself eat. Usually a granola bar and yogurt and fruit or cereal. Today, however I tried Kashi protein bar (been a little low in my protein) and was amazed how bad they were for how much they cost. I think I'm sticking with Quaker-I'll save these for days my protein is really low!

*Since starting to eat breakfast I definitely have more energy in the am*
No, it's a co-workers birthday.  That cake replaced my morning granola bar.  Not as healthy, but only about 60 calories more.  So yes, I ate crappy (delicious) food, but budgeted it.  so HA.

Dove...I am evil.  So very very evil ;)
I had an omelet from a whole egg with an extra white and some sauteed mushrooms, tomatoes, and onions thrown in and some fat free cream cheese on top.  I've been missing eggs, and it wasn't bad!  :)  Definitely not the old favorite 3-egg ham and cheese omelet, but good!
I had a cup of shredded wheat with soy milk and for lunch i had a cup of soup. Yum yum. I'm having the same soup, unfortunately, for dinner because there's nothing else in the house for me to take to work for dinner. haha
i knew it, finewine! i knew it...
Half a cup of Kashi Go Lean mixed with a half a cup of Cinnamon Life and about 3/4 cup of skim milk...then an ounce of almonds, Dannon Light 'n Fit yogurt, and I'm debating whether or not to have a cup of coffee...

Yay!
Wait! Hold up!

... *pulls out his water pistol* Thar can't be two purely evil men on this forum, Mr. FineWine..

I'm afraid we'll have to duke it out here and now..
now that's something I'd like to see...It's about time we had some action around here!

but hk, i'd have to side with fw. he did call my hair sexy. sigh.

hey!

not that i'm surprised...you are battling to see who's the most evil boy! ...but I'm pretty sure you would regret getting into a water fight with me, buddy.
*squirts kirs10 again*
That's it, boy!

I'm busting out the arsenal of water balloons, maybe a water hose. How are you going to refill that water gun, sucker?!?

Those water balloons leave a nice spot on your back as you run away...

Hmm...let me just stick the hose down your shirt...that should cool you off.

Aaaaaaaaah... that's much better.
