What are some good ways to add flavor to oatmeal without the calories?

I like adding cinnamin and I make my oatmeal with brewed tea like peach, but...that only adds so much flavor, any more low cal oatmeal suggestions? P.S. trying to avoid the splenda/sweetners in packaged oatmeal!

I put a tsp of yougurt

Stevia! It's an all natural, plant made sweetener with no calories. Expensive, but a little goes a long way. Add that to your peach cinnamon stuff and I bet it'd be wonderful.

Salt is also good.

i make my oatmeal with vanilla soy milk. it gives a really yummy flavor. then i put cinnamon on top.

i know a lot of people also make it with peanut butter. once - AFTER i put cinnamon on my oatmeal already - i discovered i was out of soy milk and in a protein crunch, so i put peanut butter on it as well. let me tell you that cinnamon and peanut butter do NOT go together. i felt sick the rest of the day.

I use Splenda, Salt, 2% Milk, and Butter

Hehehehe...  See, in my opinions, cinnamon and peanut butter is the most amazing combo ever!  In fact, I absolutely love a couple slices of light orrowheat bread, with some peanut butter spread on each, sprinkled with tonssss of cinnamon.  Mmmmmmmmmmmm....

Anyway, I'm a huge oatmeal fan.  Lately I've been making it with almond milk (almond breeze unsweetened original or vanilla is 40 calories for a cup), and a tablespoon of dried blueberries, or raisins.  Or, less almond milk, and some sugar-free chai concentrate.  Another good addition is sliced strawberries.  Or frozen berries.  Man oh man, I could LIVE off of oatmeal I love it so much, so I've tried just about everything (including some not-so-great combos, and some much higher calorie ones)..!

try sugar free syrups, like vanilla, and if you need some protein i love adding nuts (tho that is not low cal lol). Adding fruit like strawberries, or a spoonful (a small one) of jam is yummy!

Strawberries are really low-cal, 1/2 cup of strawberry halves is only about 49 calories.

I eat oatmeal almost every day and if you don't want to add any extra calories use spenda and flavor with different types of extracts. (maple and almond are especially good). If you are looking for some low calorie options canned pumpkin with cinnamon and pumpkin pie spice is awesome!!

sugar free maple syrup
I cut a baby banana and add it to my oatmeal. very healthy choice and sweet and it will cost you around 50 cal. only. Tastes so good.
I cut up an apple and cook it in the microwave for 1 1/2 - 2 minutes with a sprinkle of cinnimon and brown sugar or nutmeg, then add that to my oatmeal. yum :)
mmmmm...so many good ideas for adding a little flavour to oatmeal!  I love added the splenda coffee flavours. The french vanilla and mocha add such a nice flavour to oatmeal with no added calories :)

I add cinnamon =)

I love to add chopped up apple...it only takes about 1/4 of the apple...so very low cal :)

This isn't calorie-free, but a scoop of vanilla protein powder can help a lot.  It's about 110 extra calories for the kind I use, but the boost in protein is worth it!

i use blue agave syrup. 60 cals/tbsp. it's an all natural sweetner that is way better for you than any of the artificial ones and tastes lightly sweet.

Honey is a good, natural sweetener. :)

Blueberries & cinnamon or crushed pineapple and some shredded coconut :)

How about adding some natural applesauce (one without sugar added)?

I add cottage cheese - it gives it a nice contrast, and is full of protein, to keep you full
