what are some good ways to get more potassium in my diet?
i try to be balanced with everything, but my potassium intake is always extremely low. i already eat a lot of bananas, and those are the only food i know that are "potassium rich". does anyone have any good suggestions on some foods that will help increase my intake?

How are you determining that your intake of potassium is low? Potassium is actually quite easy to maintain - unless you are on a diuretic or "water pill" that puts you at risk of losing potassium, or unless you are an extreme athlete. Even folks who are on a diuretic are encouraged to eat a banana a day to offset potassium losses - they are not encouraged to do much more than that.
Unless your diet is composed of very unusual low potassium foods, I would suggest you recalculate how much potassium you are getting. You might be getting plenty.
My doctor asked me to drink orange juice as well to make sure I have enough potassium in my system, since my medication drains it...

i wasn't looking at my actual intake but rather the percentage of my daily value the program i use said i was getting (not calorie count). it turns out i'm getting plenty, but the program suggests way more than i need. must be a fluke. thanks anyway.
