Good Workout DVDs...

Quote  |  Reply

For reasons best kept quiet I dont go to the gym that much these days, preferring to keep my workouts somewhere quiet in close proximity to fresh tapwater, a shower and a nice TV I can collapse in front of after.

I am currently a big Davina McCall fan and have all her first ones but not the latest.  I'm looking for some new ones and I was thinking about going for "The Firm - Bootcamp" or maybe even "5 Step Fat Attack" by Claire from Steps.  My current requirements are a good bit of a tune to jig along to (I loved jazzercise the one time I went - super cheesy music).

So my question to all you guys is do you have some good workout DVD recommendations or some warnings about bad ones?

I am a firm believer in Jillian Michaels

I have had the 30 day Shred for months... I love it!

I also just got her two newest.

No more trouble zones!! loved this one too.

and Banish fat boost metabolism.. I didn't do that one but I watched it looked good!

I can't go to the gym either!

30 Day Shred looks pretty good by the excerpt on YouTube, I'm a UK person though, dont know whether we'll have it, much less whether it will play!

Sorry!

I also love the Jillian Videos. She has a 5 disc set that you can get pretty cheap.

I reccommend that and also tae-bo bootcamp!

You can get all 3 levels streaming from youtube, thats what i do!

I love tae bo ^_^ Swear by it. Unfortunately it's one of the only workout videos I have and I need something to spruce it up.

I know its old, but total fitness by Denise Austin. Its a real workout real people can do.

I'm brand new here, but I Love Yoga Booty Ballet series, I also have belly dancing, and dancing with the stars videos. Love em, alternate em.

Can you tell I like to dance?Smile
