How many of you have grade A nutrition
Hi there
I was just updating my food log on the site and got the analysis that my overall nutrition for the day is B- although my today's calorie intake is only almost 900 cal till now (yet to update supper). I was wondering if anyone out here has been successfully taking an A or A+ diet.. somedays or everyday. is there?
A's and B's are not for the number of calories you eat through the day, it's for the kind of food you eat, you can eat 1 snickers bar (240 cals) all day long and get a D or eat 3000 cals of fresh food and still get an A...the more fresh food you eat (veggies n fruits) the more A's you get, almost everything other than that even if it's healthy is a B or a C like meat, raw nuts, olive oil, brown bread and pasta.
on diet-days i eat almost everything: carbs, veggies, fruits, meat and i get A. everything has to be eaten in moderation.
hope that helped ; )
yeh i get that the grades depend upon the "quality" of food you take in. I wanted to know if any/all of you are able to eat grade A foods all the time? i's seriously die without non veg, though i have minimalized it like never before. But boiled/salad veggies are somethign i am yet to develope my taste buds for :-(.
I've had an A or A- 6 out of the last 7 days. The other day was a B+. I've only been on this site for a week, but I guess I'm doing okay. I should probably have more variety, but I've at least got a good starting group of healthy foods. Here are some of the foods that I put in my journal almost every day:
1 oz. almonds or cashews
strawberries
blackberries
pear
Fiber One Honey Clusters
Skinny Cow ice cream bar (yes, ice cream and chocolate and I still get an A!)
Fat free milk
Cottage cheese
Dinners I end up just breaking up into the main ingredients best I can. Chicken breast, potato, corn, etc.
I have a favorite sandwich I eat every day that I've added into the "add your own section". It's roast beef slices with reduced fat provolone cheese on wheat bread with a homemade honey mustard (used miniminally-made from fat free sour cream).
I try to end up with at least 1200 to 1400 calories.
You ladies seem to be doing good. I just started logging my food intake. It really suprised me how unhealthy I was eating. I used to eat tacos all the time for breakfast and I'm addicted to chocolate. But, today I had strawberry cheescake yogurt for breakfast and it was not only good for me (well it was a B) but it calmed my sweets craving. I only got one A for eating a bell pepper and then I was shocked when I got a C for the bagel I had for lunch. I guess I'm still learning this nutrition business.
yep
its a very very vast topic. And mostly constitutes of things we dont like or hardly eat hehe. good nutrition i mean. I am having a hard time giving up white rice. small portions dont satisfy me and leave me craving for more. so i decided to give it up completely. More i am trying to avoid it, more its coming to my mind. :((
I am an A or an A+ just about everyday my worst score is a B- that I've ever gotten here. But for the most part I stay at an A. It seems like even if I have an item with a not so great grade my overall stays at an A. I always check to see if it has dropped any but it normally never does. It is puzzling in a way but I am very happy for the high grade!!!
Yeh your grade A nutrition shows... (in your before and after pics... if its yours in the avatar)
No wonder you have that awesome body now. how long did it take you to reach your goal?
Gawwdd!! its damn difficult to stick to just A it seems. i am trying my best to make it a part of my life and not just reach my current goal. Nutrition i mean. But it sure is a long hard way.
YES I MOSTLY GET A A+ FOR MY FOOD CHOOSES CHECK OUT MY LOG IF U LIKE HOPE IT HELPS I SAY I'M GETTING MOSTLY A CAUSE I'M SUPER TRYING I GOT MY WEDDING DRESS TO FIT INTO
GREAT LUCK AN B'S R BETTER THAN C D OR F'S I SAY KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK
