56grams dry pasta = ? prepared
Hello,
I've searched for quite a bit online looking for the weight difference in a serving (56g) of dry angel hair pasta compared to when it is prepared cooked (plain). On the box it says that 56g is about 1 cup prepared, but it doesnt say how many grams this is! I doubt that the 1 cup is 227 grams (water).
Has anyone actually measured out a cup of the stuff after its been cooked, and weighed it?
Thanks!
UPDATE:
nm, its 127.5 grams, sorry
