Hello

I am trying to figure out what the "grams" (next to cal's) means on our food log.  Is that how much the food we ate weighed?

Thank you,

Rom

Yep Rom, that is exactly what it is. I broke down and bought a kitchen scale yesterday because I wanted to see how my servings compared to their single serving (fish, meat etc). Even restaurant foods vary tremendously. I found that a single serving from my favorite restaurant (not a chain, so no nutrition values available) was almost 2x's the size of a single serving here. The adage of a serving of meat is about as big as your palm, didn't cut it for me. Apparently, my eyes see my palms MUCH bigger (LOL).

Good luck and try not to get hung up on the little stuff, just try to eat healthier and move around a little more. You'll get it soon enough!

Thanks Les!  That was really helpful!  And thanks for the encouragement too!  Good luck to you too on your goals!  Laughing
