I am currently on a granola bar kick and I was wondering what are some healthy choices of granola bars? I know that they can be high in fat and sugar, so I want to know what the best and healthiest kinds are out there. :)

well personally i LOVE the Quaker Chewy Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter ones, and you can get them 25% Less Sugar
Cals 100
Fiber 3g
Protein 2g
and they are delicouse dipped in milk!

Kashi- ive never had them but ive heard they are really healthy for granola bars

Same with Luna

My favorites are:  Fiber One - oats & chocolate   Cal=140, Fiber 9, Protien 2

My second is Kellogg's All Bran Honey Oat bars.  Cal=130, Fiber 5, Protien 2

Always keep at least one in my purse and in my desk.

OH man, kashi TLC pumpkin spice with flax bars are yummy! They're on the hard side, so i have mine with coffee. Delish.

Also, I just bought some Special K Bliss bars in raspberry and orange. The raspberry ones are my favorite-- only 90 calories and great for a mid afternoon snack. They have chocolate!
My personal favorites are the Quaker Chewy in Oatmeal Raisin.  They're only 90 calories each and taste like an oatmeal raisin cookie!  Yum.
I like the Nature Valley granola bars -- the crunchy ones, not the chewy ones.  I like them because they come in a variety of delicious flavors and you get two to a pack for 180 calories total.  They have 4 g protein I think.
If you really want healthy you should make your own.
I agree.  I have a recipe on here (sam's healthy granola bars) that tastes an awful lot like the Nature Valley ones; they are easy to make and taste good.  I wrap them individually and freeze them, then grab one in the morning and it is thawed and yummy by afternoon snack time!  You don't have to freeze them, I just do so they last a while...
I like the Clif "MOJO" Peanut Butter Pretzel bars. They are 70% organic (so says the wrapper, anyway.) They are very tasty and I always carry one in my purse for "just in case" times. To me they are sort of like a granola bar mixed with a "Payday" type candy bar. They are crunchy, salty and sweet... and satisfying.

(I find them at the best price at Target stores, for 99-cents.)

I don't know what's with me, but I absolutely LOVE granola/breakfast bars more than anything else I eat lol...

when I have a granola bar I usually have the Quaker low-fat granola bars (Oatmeal raisen is my favorite, although I like them all)...they are 90 calories each...quaker also sells these bars in packages of "granola bites" which are basicially balls of the granola bar in 90 calorie packs......I also eat Special K bars, Nutri-Grain bars, and Kashi go-lean bars too....but when it comes to granola I stick with quaker
i'm a big fan of kashi bars.. especially the dark cherry chocolate ones!

i dont know if luna bars are considered "granola" bars but they are amazing too

You have to try Odwalla bars, they are scarummmmmptious!

I use Kudos for when I have a chocolate/candy kick.  They come in a new 100 cal version.  They're not great for you though...

I agree with the many before me... Chewy 90 cal bars.

To those of you that have tried Luna bars - are they good?  I was always worried they were kinda cardboardy, like SlimFast bars.

i think its about personal preference.. i know some people HATE luna bars but i think most love'em... i personally use them as more of a treat, or an on-the-go snack on the way to the gym.. i don't make a point of eating one everyday... my favs are chocolate peppermint stick, peanut butter cookie, oatmeal raisin, nutz over chocolate, the choc brownie one... actually, they are all good :-P
i like the cliff zbars...and luna bars.
