Is there a granola I can buy low in calories and with no sugar? I love granola but its high in sugar and I could not find a sugar free kind. What I would like to do is find a sugar free kind and add my own sweetner and stuff. I love kashi go lean crunch, but it has 13 grams of sugar per serving, so thats a no no. So any ideas?
You could make your own...

I second the advice to make your own. I love granola, but didn't like the nutritional profile of the cheap stuff, and didn't want to spend the money on the expensive stuff, so now I make my own. It is actually fairly simple, and gives you much more control over the sugar content.
Depends if it's added sugar or not... almost all granolas containing dried fruit will contain natural sugar because of the fruit.
You could try a natural or toasted muesli... mine has only 5g per serve and it does contain fruit; none of the sugar is added.
Making your own is a great suggestion.
I don't really want to make my own, because I just like to buy my stuff. I guess there is really no low calorie granola. I checked the store and everything is like 200 or 300 calores per HALF cup. I could downlike 4 servings easy. Why is it so damn good?
I found out about this granola by Galaxy Granola from this forum. There are 4 different "flavors." The calories range (per 1/2 cup or 50g) 155 to 165 and sugar from 7g to 14g. Check out this link : http://www.galaxygranola.com/
I love granola too. I have a serving of their "not sweet vanilla" which has nothing but just granola and add a serving of silvered almonds EVERY day. This is one snack that I must have on a daily basis....I look forward to it. I purchase mine from Whole Foods but you can get them on-line thru this link (or can find out where to buy them, the info. is on this link as well). If you find something better in your quest, be sure to share. Good luck!
Galaxy Granola's "Not Sweet Vanilla" is misleading imo. The pear juice concentrate is another form of sugar, and is used to sweeten the granola. That's why it has 7g sugar per serve, or 14g per 100g... not exactly a low-sugar variety, especially given none of the sugar comes from dried fruit, which at least has more nutrients and fibre.
I mean, it's a lot better for you than many breakfast cereals, but I don't think they should advertise it as "without a drop of sweetness" when it clearly has just that.
