I bought vanilla yogurt today from our campus grocery store and it doesnt have a label on it. There was about 6-8 oz I'd say and about 1/2cup granola, some strawberries and grapes, and a piece of kiwi. Any guesses as to how many calories...I'm trying to log it and i have no idea.
Depends if it's low-fat or full-fat yogurt. So if you're trying to gain weight, I would choose a yogurt thats low-fat, and vice versa if you're trying to lose, just so you can acheive your goal. ...Granola, well usually if I have granola its bear naked (mm mm) I really love the chocolate kind, and that runs you somewhere in the ballpark of 110-160 calories for 1/4 cup. I'm not sure though because many granolas can be loaded with unwanted sugars, also depends if there's nuts or types of dried fruits in it. Also, I wouldn't even bother really counting the fruits, I haven't ever heard of a little extra fresh fruit killing somebody, unless they were allergic or something - and that would just be terrible. Anyways off that tangent, I hope this helped.
yea Im unsure if it was lowfat or full-fat, so i guess id assume full. I wouldnt know the difference all I know is looks can be deceiving because the yogurt part wasnt very good lol.
sometimes i get similar parfaits at my school.. about 6 oz of yogurt, 1/2 cup granola, and blueberries and strawberries.
i usually guess it's about 400 calories.
