great chocolate help

Anyone else out there a chocoholic.  I crave it most anytime, but especially 'that time of the month'.  My nieces introduced me to Trader Joes cat cookies.  They are shaped like cats and are chocolate about the size of an animal cracker.  15 are a serving for a little over 100 calories and they satifsty that chocoate craving.  Another low fat chocolate option is Coco Puffs.  Not nutritious for sure, but when that chocolate craving hits it's enough to get me through without blowing my calories or fat for the day.  Anyone got any other chocolate solutions?

I suck on a couple of Chip Its!!  It's hard not to grab more though...there is also this bar you get with the protein bars etc in the drug store called Endulge or Endulgance - they have several and the peanut butter cup one I do not recommend but the caramel nut chew one is really really good - I can't remember what the calorie count is right now but I think it is around 150 calories.
Jello brand chocolate or chocolate-vanilla sugar free pudding. Only 60 calories each. They also have a new creamy caramel flavor.

Also Yoplait Light Fat Free has White chocolate strawberry and Boston Cream Pie Flavors with only 100 cal for 6oz.

Then I also turn to Nabiscos 100 Calorie Packs of Chips Ahoy or Keebler Chips Deluxe both are 100 calories for each .81 oz bag.

I've also tried plain m&ms. You can have quite a few for a serving. I wouldn't do that everyday though.
If I'm really in the mood for candy and nothing else is going to do (and I have calories left for the day), I like Junior Mints.  A whole box has 210 calories and 3.5g of fat.  I usually get tired of them about halfway through the box, so 105 cals and 1.75g fat.  I like to let them dissolve in my mouth - they last longer that way.
I like the Weight watchers chocolate cake (out it in the microwave for 20 seconds it gets nice and moist and gooey) or chocolate chip cookie dough sundaes...  they are in the freezer section and they have about 150 calories... they are yummy !
I get my choc. fix by having a choc. protein drink or bar.

G N C has very tasty ones.....a shake w/skim milk instead of water tastes like Nestle's Quick (aprox. 200 calories) the GNC brand bar "pro crunch lite" is an excellent snack and has several flavors. My favorite is the cinnamon bun. Usually around $1 per bar.

No, I don't work for GNC.....I've found the product "most bestest".
If I'm having a craving for chocolate, only the real deal will help me :P I like to have a small amount of Dagoba Chocolate. Half of their Eclipse bar has 170 calories, 13g fat, 4g fiber, 4g sugar & 3g protein. They have many types that are lower in fat than this example. However, this is real cacao too, so it is rich in good for you antioxidants. Even the AHA is making claims that cacao is associated with decreased diabetes and high blood presure.

Or you could have a skinny cow chocolate ice cream. Most of the different kinds are just 140 calories and 1-2g of fat! Yummy yummy!
One square (10 grams) of super dark chocolate and 4 oz of red wine.  I LOVE this combo.  Heart healthy antioxidants!!!!  (That's my excuse anyway) =-)
you know I have been wanting to try that wed wine and dark chocolate combo but is scares me.  I love both but have not had them together and inported dark chocolate is my trigger food!!

oh yeah...

breyers light fudge bars!  90 cal
I have two Dove Darks (84 cal) with AkMak Crackers...tastes like a candy bar...YUMMMMM!
I get just a bit of a chocolate fix from VIACTIV Calcium chews. They are carmel-like chews that have 20 calories each, FAT=0.5g, CARB=4g, SUGAR=3g  Two  chews give you 100% of your calcium. Wal-mart has a generic version, but I haven't looked at the nutrition data yet. I'm also a big chocolate milk person, but a small handful of chocolate chips is required at certain times!
I had a chocolate craving when I went with some friends to get coffee. I bought a bar of Godiva dark chocolate, ate one square, and made everyone else eat the rest. I got my fill and only had 60 calories.
When I want chocolate I have a bag of those new 100 calorie snack packs and there are oreo ones! They arent actual oreo cookies, but they look like little crackers and there's like 25 in a bag.. they taste just like the real thing and theres only 2 grams of fat! and there are lots of different kinds too!
Russell Stovers makes sugerless chocolate candy...they are really very good and don't have very many calories for ONE!
Hershey's Kisses only have 25 calories per kiss they are an easy way to ket that chocolate fix fast.

The no sugar added fudge bars from Blue Bunny are tasting and not awful for you.  I'm on Low Cal and High Fiber and these fit the bill as well as any desert I've found.  The are about 60 calories and have 5g of fiber.  Just remember to eat ONLY ONE. :)
I read about CocoaVia products several months ago but just came across them in the grocery store this past week.  I bought the chocolate bars that are 100 calories and the chocolate snack bars that are only 80 calories - I didn't have huge hopes for the taste, so I was completely surprised at how good the chocolate snack bar was!  It was really like a candy bar and it was so rich that one bar really did satisfy my sweet tooth.  On the box it also states that they are "heart healthy" and can lower your bad cholesterol by 10% (i think the plain chocolate bar said 8% if i remember correctly).  They also provide 25% of your daily recommended allowance of calcium.  How can you lose!!
LOL!

when I have a chocolate craving, I have some chocolate.

if this is supposed to be a way of living for the rest of my life, no way am I going to elaborate lengths to avoid eating what I really want. ^_^
Healthy Choice Fudge Bars are also excellent! 80cal, with 1g of fat.
