I'm planning a special supper for my fiance and he absolutely LOVES Greek salad, but I have no idea how to make it! Help! Can anyone tell me how to make a yummy Greek salad?

That one  looks yummy, I also like to throw some garbanzo beans in too for some protein.

So I do not eat cheese and advise no one to eat it either but I am aware that if you do not have any feta then it just isn't a "greek" salad - so here is the deal:

Mixed Greens

Olives

Banana Peppers

Bell Peppers

Red Onion

Capers

Cherry Tomatoes

Anchovies

*Then sprinkle feta over the top (tsp max!)

*You can also serve this salad with grilled fish or chicken! Good luck and enjoy!

Country Greek Salad

Tomato, cucumber (seeds removed), onion, Feta cheese, and green pepper.  Leave the lettuce and other greens out. Save the garlic for an Italian salad.  A few kalamatta olives and hot or mild pepperoncini.  A great olive oil 3/4 cup to about 4 tsp. wine vinegar.  Salt and pepper to taste.  Spare no expense on the olive oil and Feta.  If you can by organic it will make a big disserence.

Mix together lemon juice, garlic, olive oil, salt and pepper.

Finely chop a red onion and leave in the dressing.

Arrange some lettuce on a plate, followed by tomato slices and cucumber slices.

Add some feta cheese in big slices.

Scatter over some black kalamata olives.

Drizzle over the dressing and the slightly marinated onion.

YUM!
