anyone around?  I need help real quick...

I made (am making) green chili stew.  I got everything already in the crockpot ready to go.  chili, potatoes, tomatoes, onions etc......

my question is:  do I just throw the meat (steak) in?  I already have it all cut up.  I just don't know if I just throw it in raw or if i'm suppose to brown it first.

Can anyone help me?  pweaseee

In my omnivore days (in a galaxy far far away), I browned first.

yay!  thanks a bunch, meganr  :)

I don't usually eat meat.... but hubster can't seem to live without it.  I usually pick the meat out of my meals  (hence why I don't really know much about cooking meat, lol)

thanks again... that's a big help as I've already turned the crockpot on.

I'm gonna go start browning the meat now.
