What is the green line on the weight loss graph. I understand the blue line is my actual weight, but is the green line some sort of calculated trend?
The green line is your moving average... it shows the general trend of your weightloss, so you want to keep it moving downwards.

"Tracking your body weight gives you a clear illustration of where you are in your weight loss journey, and it also depicts this journey's direction better that you would be able to with just a pen and paper. Namely, our weight graph includes a trendline (green line), which averages out the daily fluctuations in your water weight and uncovers your true weight loss progress."

Which means what? I wish they would explain their methodology for how exactly this works.
The green line is pretty much an indicator of your weight, taking in daily fluctuations. Because your weight can go up or down a few pounds daily depending on whether you're dehydrated, retaining water, or have just eaten the green line is giving you a more likely indicator of what your true weight is. It's taking your previous weight entries with current ones to ease out the jumping of the scale.

The Hacker's Diet (on which CC is based, I think) has a detailed and friendly explanation of this as it relates to diets: Signal and Noise
It may depend on how much weight data that you have, but the trend line is calculated using a 10-day moving average. (you add together your daily weight for the last 10 days and then divide that number by 10)
