I read online somewhere that green tea (hot, no sugar) is VERY good for you. I was wondering if this is true at all. Does it really help you lose weight?

super good drinking several cups a day not only cuts down on your appetite but also boosts your metabolism. It's best brewed from a tea bag, dont use powders or buy bottled/canned green tea.
i swear by green tea (no sugar!) i have 3 - 6 cups a day and it was awesome because i had been stuck for so long and the week i started green tea i lost 1.5 lbs in 5 days! now i drink it every day and i feel great too because it stops me bloating!

not lipton though, lipton green tea is NOT like real green tea and isn't very good for you
It doesn't matter if it's hot or cold either. It's good stuff! Very healthy!

That's my new fad.  A friend said it helps you lose weight.  I make a pitcher every day and drink it cold,  mostly at night.  Someone I know doesn't like the Salada brand.

glad for the hint about Liptons.

I now have my grocey store brand and at Walmart just bought Celestial.

I had some celery in the fridge, on the shelf above my tea.  A pc of celery fell in my green tea.  I fished it out and didn't want to waste my tea but  it tasted like celery.........not a good combination  :0)
I have Salada brand green tea, and I like it :)

Green Tea is a healthy product, I drink it all the time.

But it has no effect on weight-loss, unless it stops you from drinking coffee with 2x sugar and cream all day.

Just remember, every product marketer on earth says their product helps weight loss, as saying that helps sales and makes money.
