I've started using it... has anyone else here used it and what were your results/ what do you think about it?

Just like other "burners" it lightens you by making your wallet lighter.

I have one of those, I don't think any of these "fat burners" really do anything except get you hopped up on caffine. At least the green tea one seems to have EGCG in it to make them a bit more benefitial. Really I ended up using them my last semester of college to pull all nighters. If you don't take them first thing in the morning they can really screw up your sleep schedule, then again I guess that depends on how sensitive you are to caffine.

I wish I had taken something in school to pull all nighters...lol.   But as an adult, I'm not going to put stuff into my body that affects my sleep, just to lose weight. Affecting your sleep is your body's way of saying, "Stop doing this!!"..

Ahh yes, the green tea fat burners.  The only thing I got out of those was.. a raging temper and heart palpitations!
Seriously - my friends at work said I seemed "angry" and I felt really freaked out since my heart was about to jump out of my chest several times a day.

My advice.. Stay away!

I haven't really found that they've worked very well.  I'm a big fan of doing the Whole Body Cleanse from GNC, following the diet they put in the box & exercising  for an additional hour per week.  It's helped me out a ton.  Plus that cleanse alone helped me drop a few exrtra pounds of weight and yucky stuff

Not quite true that it doesn't do anything for a dieter who exercises:

Green tea catechin consumption enhances exercise-induced abdominal fat loss in overweight and obese adults.

Maki KC et.al. ,J Nutr. 2009 Feb;139(2):264-70. Epub 2008 Dec 11.

But it doesn't do much for maintenance :

Green tea catechin plus caffeine supplementation to a high-protein diet has no additional effect on body weight maintenance after weight loss. Hursel R, Westerterp-Plantenga MS, Am J Clin Nutr. 2009 Mar;89(3):822-30. Epub 2009 Jan 28

Generally speaking though, the extracts only appear to be helpful if you aren't already drinking green tea; can't find the study now, but one I looked at found the same effect whether the subjects were given 30,60, or 90 mg of EPCG per dose, even if the original Swiss study used 500mg.

So my best guess is that if you're a heavy tea drinker already it won't do jack, and if you aren't you could probably see some of the same effects by making an effort to have a cuppa or two on a regular basis. Capsules are more convenient in some scenarios, but no more than that.

I have to say I think I had better effects from just drinking green tea.

I've been using the green tea fat burner for about 10 months or maybe 11 as a supplement along with excercising.  I've lost 50lbs and have never encountered any palpitations, sleepless nights.... but then we're all different. I buy my Liquid soft-gel Green Tea Fat Burner from costco because its a huge bottle for only 16 dollars the most.  I like the results and the fact that i know it helps burn twice the calories when I'm working out... that's just my take on it. Whatever you end up using make sure your mindset is in the right place and be positive about it. Good luck.

I started taking a green tea fat burner a few days ago. I've always a had a serious addiction to Mt.Dew which has lots of caffine. Thanks to the caffine in the fat burner I have stopped drinking Mt.Dew and haven't had the terrible caffine withdrawls or headaches. You do have to drink alot of water if you take one though or you will get very dehydrated. I've heard of some people getting really sick or having very bad side effects. I luckily havent noticed any of the side effects aside from getting a little dizzy off and on but I think that's my high blood pressure reminding me it is still there. I haven't lost significant amounts of weight but I just started taking it a few days ago. And you definately don't wanna take it late in the evening or you will be up all night.

If you wanna talk about it and the brand I use add me as a friend or send me an email!!!
