Grilled chicken from McDonald's.
Anyone have any idea of the nutrition facts for just the grilled chicken at McDonald's? I guess it's the chicken that they put in their salads, I can't find it singularly. I like to order the side salad off of the dollar menu and have them add grilled chicken. It's cheap and somewhat(I hope) healthy. I know generally a breast of chicken is around 100 but considering it's McDonald's I'm sure they do something to ruin it a little. :)
I don't have the actuals handy, but know you can go to the website to nutrition info or to the "bag a mcmeal" and select an item and see the individual ingredient breakdown. So, you'd have to go to a salad w/grilled chicken to see the chicken info. Or, you can select a salad and subtract all the ingredients except for the greens and the chicken and have a pretty good indication of the total count.
Nice, I found it. 120 calories for the chicken breast. So with the salad and the lowfat balsamic vinaigrette it comes to 180. Thanks! I'm gonna pretend I didn't eat like 4 handfuls of my boyfriend's fries. :/
One thing you have to keep in mind while doing that is the size of mcdonalds grilled chicken breast varies considerably. I work for them, and some of the chicken breasts we serve are twice the size of others. Really, there's no completely accurate way of measuring the calories unless you weigh the chicken on a scale!
But I guess that's the case with everything. :)
on the website they list the info for the salad with chicken and without chicken, so just subtract without chicken from with chicken to get the info for the chicken by itself. i just looked and it seems to be about 150cal.
