Gross Halloween Candy
Anybody remember those disgusting black and orange wrapped peanut butter candy thingies?
When my sister and I were younger we'd get so grossed out when we got those trick-or-treating...
What Halloween candy do you think is yucky?
Reason: Move to Foods Forum
I think those were called candy kisses or Halloween kisses, something like that. Those are what I thought of before I even came into this thread.
I didn't like a lot of halloween candies.
Hate candy corn, kisses, rockets, malted ball thingys, apples!
I guess I only liked the chocolate and green suckers.
Oh yeah and those bat things. They were pink I think and on a stick. Your teeth barely stayed connected to your jaw when you tried to bite one.
Not a Halloween person, but I'll put up my cute decorations anways.
I hate candy corn, hersheys kisses, and anything with peanut butter. I LOVE skittles, starburst, milky ways, 100 grand, kit kat, 3 musketeers, sweettarts, mmmmm now I want candy.
I'm kind of sad Italy doesn't celebrate Halloween. It is probably my favorite holiday after Christmas...and I love dressing up.
You children have no sense of adventure!
I buy the candy for the office bowl. This week I bought candy corn and peanut butter eyeballs. Next week I will buy wax lips and gummy body parts.
Strangely my crew will actually appreciate this nonsense.
There was a dentist on our street who gave out tooth brushes for Halloween.
We so egged his house.

hahahaha!!!
What about people that give out pennies?!
WTF? Is it 1934 or something?
ahaha those damn people that gave out pennies. Candy corn is disgusting and the black and orange wrapped peanut butter candies. Really what are those? My mother bought candy corn for the candy dish at home and the only person thats eaten any of it is my best friend.
"Boston Baked Beans" - I don't even know how people consider this a candy, much less how the concept even got approved for production in the first place.
I also hate the marshmallow filled chocolate things, cheap starlite mints, and pixie stix. I also remember some people on our street giving out McDonald's coupons for ice cream cones, which in and of itself isn't necessarily bad, but my mom didn't like dealing with two kids begging her to take them to McDonald's just to get a trick or treat prize.
The black and orange wrapped candy mentioned in the OP are called "peanut butter kisses", or something like that, and while I thought they were pretty much worthless as a kid, I actually like them now.
wow...reading this i've just realized that i don't think there is any candy i truly don't like.
with the exception of CIRCUS PEANUTS.
*GAG*
but nobody gives those horrific things out at halloween luckily! mmm halloween candy! i LOVE halloween!!
Boston Baked Beans?
What, they slop a ladle full into your plastic pumpkin?

LMAO! I laughed so hard at this because for a few years there was an old man in the town where my little sister and I would go trick-or-treating who would do this. HA HA. We were always baffled by it, but let it go. It was better then him not giving anything at all and being a sour puss. Heh.
We always loved the lady who made homemade pop corn balls and gave them out though. :)

silly split :p
and mmmm homemade popcorn balls! i love popcorn balls!
My mom would let us eat anything homemade.
Makes sense.
I clicked on the baked beans link and got lemonheads. I love lemonheads. Don't like candy corn much but I'll eat it. I'll pretty much eat anything if it's candy.

They're Mary Janes! Me luffs Mary Janes.
people around us are pretty good...my kids get upset with the mini popcorn bags and raisins. I mean really? are they trying to teach a lesson?
the teens in town just go to certain houses now of friends and fav teachers and those that they know give out full size candy bars. My son made it too late last year to one house so he was given a soda and a slice of pizza. It worked for him.
Really, I can turn anything down as long as it isn't chocolate. Amazingly enough, I don't really enjoy most of the candies (though I've been known to eat a spoonful of sugar - go figure).
We still have candy from last halloween. Apparently my kids prefer lollipops to anything else. I think I'm just going to give out dumdums this year.

I would so NOT go to your house if this is your idea of a treat.
Man, those orange and black wrapped things are awesome! I'm glad most people don't like them since it means more for me! Although stale ones can pull a cap off your tooth. (learned that the hard way)
I don't like wax lips. I used to think people just passed them out as a cheap prop gag. You get the once a year quick laugh wearing it then throw the spit covered wax away. A couple years back I learned people actually eat them! It sounds like a horrible idea to me. Maybe if you swallowed some floss you could make candles...
Candy Corn. Ew.
