Hello people, wake up lets get this group moving. Im excited to be in a grp near my home, I am hopeful that we can get some exercize groups going.  Maybe to encourage somone to ride a bike for 5 miles, or maybe to help somone getting out and doing their first mile walk.

I agree.. I have met great people on this site. I teach a exercise group at Sawgrass lake park on Sat @ 7am for 10$ would love to see people there that I have met here. Anyone intrested?? Would love to help you with your goals for a healthier lifestyle.

I have been super busy this week...but I love the idea of getting together for a bike ride or a hike.

Im just starting to exercize.  Right now i can walk about 3 miles, not sure how far i could ride my bike i havent tried this year.  But im willing to give it a go:).

Also if anyone around st pete, largo , clearwater needs a walking buddy to get started dont be afraid to IM me.

Hey Frazemama  thats a cool offer. But im just talking about old fashion walking/ bike riding type activity right now.  I as of this morning weigh 240lbs.  I want to drop this 40lbs before I start with a trainer or any classes being that just getting up and moving my arse around seems to be working for right now.

I kept posting things and nobody would answer. I would love to be able to chat to people about their progress. I can use some motivation. I don't have a bike, but I do out and run on the trail and in my neighborhood. How is every one esle progressing?

I suppose I'm progressing ok.  I noticed your reference to Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle.  I agree it is a good book.  I'm having trouble getting the 5-6 meals thing down but everything seems to make sense.  I never had a problem not eating enough but rather eating the wrong stuff and sometimes eating too much.  More protein less refined carbs for me although I'm a chocaholic so not sure how that is going to fit in.  I just started last week so I'll keep ya posted.  Have to get motivated to start the gym.  Maybe if I start seeing results it'll motivate me to try harder.
