Group Friday weigh in - Target December 4th
Ok lets try this again. Time to get serious! Starting today, I'm going to weigh in every friday until December 4th, in hopes of motivating myself to loose 10 pounds. By my calculations, thats only 1 pound a week, so I think I can do it!

Okay, I tried one of these before, but didn't do so hot. If you could see my cc weight chart it's a yo-yo! Up, down, up, down! I loose 3 or 4 lbs during the week, then after the weekend is up I've gained it all back! EVERY WEEK. This can not be good for my metabolism. I've got to count calories during the wkends too..so here we go!

yeah, yeah i know its a ridiculous goal but its easier to lose weight when your bigger than average.. at the moment though, im just trying to keep my weight in a downward trend...

I'm just curious. I'm sure I'm not the only one thinking & stewing about the upcoming holidays & food. What are your plans? Are you going to try to...
A) Specifically cut the calories & fat out of the traditional dishes you make,
or
B) Will you just eat less of the things you normally make,
OR
C) Will you just say.."hey, it's the holiday, I'm going to give myself a break and just enjoy!"?
Just interested in everyone's feelings on this.

December 4th- *sigh* 120. I'd love to be 118 but between all this: 1 party( this saturday! I'm cutting back on my calories this week and plan to exercise 2 instead of my usual 1 hour) my birthday( won't be too bad, probably just a dinner out; i probably won't have a problem with that) and the big ones-thanks giving and halloween! I think, even with cutting back this week and the week before halloween, you never know. My weight loss is pretty slow.
Quoting semeimayor: what is everyone doing for turkey day? I think I will load up on turkey and veggies and we'll see.I'll definitely will want dessert so I will try not to eat too much at dinner. And extra exercise that day and pushing harder through my regular workouts in the week before.

I just hope I can practice intuitive eating this Saturday and that will give me hope for the holidays! Wish me luck and I am cheering for all of you!

More interested in inches then weight though, hips are 37 at the moment would love to be 35/36 again been over indulging a bit!
7weeks to lose half a stone and two inches!!
my plan is to generally eat less and exercise a bit more.. get the muscle built up a bit so that the fat burns easier and yeah.. try eat less crap and more healthy foods. change a little of everything.. and NO! dont give yourself a break cos its holidays, whats the point if your always going to let yourself go.. you have to change your entire lifestyle if you want to be healthy..

When the time of family get together comes I usually eat everything on the dinner table in very small amount. I try not to hurt family chef's feeling. But........When I make a second around.....or forbidden thirds......after all I'm not eating any small!

I will NOT eat like a pig this weekend. I can eat healthy on the weekends too! It's what ya gotta do when you have those last lbs to go!!!!!!!!!!

I'm pretty satisfied. I lost .5 pounds even though I went over 1 or 2. Today I have a huge party- lotsa food!. I already exercised for an hour and plan to do at least a half hour more and I ate a banana with some peanut butter today, about 200 calories and will have a small lunch so I still have a lot of calories left and exercised a lot.
I REALLY Really want to be 126 by next week. I'm praying the extra exercise will pay off.
Hey everyone! I'm a little late, but have some good results to share! I am down to 145 lbs! I thought for sure i would be more cuz i've been sick and eating kinda poorly, but it looks like my body must have been using up more calories to get rid of the aweful cold i had.

Well everyone, tomorrow is our weigh in day, so give it a good effort today, count all your calories, dont forget drinks, and boost your exercise routine tonight with something extra! I myself am going to do a lot of walking today to try and give myself a head start into the weekend. I had a tough week at work and have a girls night tomorrow night where I know that the amount of alcohol consumed will be more than I should have, so thats my plan. Does anyone know a nice alcoholic drink to have that is not a lot of calories???
I'm pretty happy with my results this week. Hopefully I can surpass my Dec 04 goal. Still have to navigate Holloween, my birthday and Thanksgiving ![]()
