Weigh in is on friday.

I started at 148 myself agelades, and my GW is 135 as well. Its been a roller coaster, and right now i'm trying to get over 144-143, which i've been at for a while, on most days;) i'm 5'8, so we are pretty close in info.

 When the trip comes you will look fab!!!! I wish I could get a trainer...I know if I could go to the gym I would drop and tone sooooo fast..I have been stuck for fricken ever now..its like I loose 2-3 pounds then yo-yo back and forth..UGH! I really think I am going to take up swimming again...Like 2 times a week...

*123.5* down half a pound....not as much as id like but better down then up! as long as im not gaining im happy =o)

I have been having such a hard time controlling myself when it comes to food again. My problem has always been portion contol... for me it is much easier to not have any sweets for months than to have them in moderation. Why is that I don't know. So I have gained so much weight this week. It seems everyday I say ok - this is what I will do, but doesn't happen. I have recommited to it so often that I don't know what to do anymore.

The bottom line - I have gained 4 pounds!!! No matter how much I tell myself it is "water weight" the pooch in my belly says something different.

My goal by next week is to have lost between 2 & 5 pounds. Wish me luck y'all. I am just going to have to stop eating sweets all together again. That is what seems to work for me.

amberwolg--I think that a 4 lb weight fluctuation is normal and can be due to a number of different things--not just having a week that you eat more sweets than usual. I went up and down (two weeks ago) 6 lbs in one day! I think that getting back on track will not be as difficult as you think. Deprivation is definitely not the way for me to go... I've lost over 18 lbs since February and my diet has at least once a week contained Pizza, or Chipotle, or Potbelly's, or even alcohol! The key is mitigation by making sure you still stay at/just under your recommended calorie intake by eating less calories at your other meals for the day and still maintain a deficit of 500-1000 calories per day. Some days I haven't done this and I have still lost weight (I think because I started to go to the gym regularly). I say that you're doing great and you should be proud of what you have accomplished so far!

Down 18.6 lbs total; 5.6 lbs for this group; and .4 lbs from last week.

Not as much as I hoped but I haven't been able to get to the gym since Monday. I'm taking an accelerated course for grad school that's killing my sleep schedule! Hopefully next week will be better!

amberwolg - I agree with whsthatlady, I mean, you lost 7lb last week! so if you average that out over the last two weeks, you're still down 3lb...or 1.5lb per week, which is not bad at all!
My schedule has been crazy this week, which has actually been helping my eating. I've only made it to the gym 2x this week, compared to my normal 4, and haven't been going to do weight training on my lunches because my hand is still messed up from my burn last week. Hopefully it will be back to normal by next week? I did go for walks mon and tues though, so I feel a little better. Been really tired with all my studying...believe me, next week I will be a much happier camper! Wish me luck monday on the LSAT!

Hi Everyone,

I am 123. And have been for a straight week. this is good news. The better news is my body is getting so toned! I can't believe the changes in the past 10 days. It was like my body was asleep and then wammmmo- I see my stomach mussels and the belly button fat is almost gone!

My trainer says I should not pay attention to the scale cause I am  building mussel weight. I can actually see my collar bone, which I never saw before. I am taking a lot more into consideration then what the scale says.


O M G.... I never drink the water I am suppose to... so I committed to 8 glasses a day and even though I have to pee every 10 min. I really think it has helped.

the bad news, I went from a 36 chest to a 34. I was a C cup, now I am in between a B and C.

Good luck to eveyone today. Just think.. today can be a start too. don't think about the past. just keep moving and be in the moment and honor your self where you are right now. And thank you for all you comments and support. :)

Work mostly I guess. I work from 9-5 (almost wanted to sing the song lol) and I work about an hour from home. So by the time I get home I dont feel like going anywhere..I am a single mom of 2 girls 11-15...and I dont always have the xtra money cuz of GAS!!! I know my girls would go with me but then thats more $...When I do work out it is at home and when I walk I do it at work and I use to walk about 5 miles a day on the weekends but they get so busy..

I've found I am getting really frustrated becasue I (like others) keep going back and forth..

Today I weigh 159 closer to 160...last week was 158..I know its only a pound from last friday but like Tuesday I weighed 157 so thats almost 3..

When I started eating better and working out I was 172-174 so I know over all I am doing good, when I joined cc i was 162.....I feel like I work so hard and NOTHING..

So I guess I will have to swim like you said..I know it is a good way to burn calories and tone up. I think that once you get to a certain point you really need to do something else. I know I would kick ass in a gym but agai with the  $..I have always had an atheltic build...and I dont mean that is  code for big... I have toned arms and back and legs...its my damn belly button pooch...ARG...(kids and c-sections) lol..Sorry I am rambling to day is not my day Cry

diet AND exercise is essential

 

I think what holds me back is my own poor motivation and lack of commitment, which I realize sabotage many area's of my life. I'm working on how to get that back consistently.

Is it to late to get in this? I'd love to lose some weight by July because it's summer. I want to make sure to get down to my goal before I start college (August 27th)

I'm seeing my guy in August, and I'd like to be 15-18 pounds thinner by then... but I'm really trying to lose 10 by about mid-July.
