Group for teens that want to lose 20+ lbs by Summer

Quote  |  Reply

So I really need to get on the stick. I lost 15 pounds from february, but gained all of it back this summer when I totally binged. I'm really mad at myself and need to lose a lot of weight before I go on a cruise with my family and wear a bikini and stuff, y a know?

So, for teens who actually need to lose weight, we can support each other while we're dealing with school and life and trying to lose weight and still maintain our good grades.

So post your stats and we'll introduce outselves and support each other on this super hard journey.

Birthday: June 13, 1995

Height: 5'3"

Weight: 132 (ehh)

Goal: 120 by june (is that reasonable?)

I'm having a decent bit of trouble losing weight, because I really don't have much time to exercise. I only have P.E. like twice a week... and it's not even that beneficial. I jump rope for about 300 times, and do 70 situps, 40 pushups, lift a 5 lb dumbbell for 100 times ... That totally is pitiful right? I'm pretty sure that's the most ridiculous exercise plan ever. I eat pretty bad... Sometimes I eat a lot of what I'm not supposed to eat. And I also really want to not just maintain good grades, but to improve. I'm Chinese, and go to this really killer school. And, life sucks at times. I'm looking for a pal to keep me motivated :D Hope everyone is doing well.

(I have pitiful thighs >.<)

Age: 14 turning 15 June 5th

Height: 5'3

Weight: 128

Goal: 115<

isilee, 120lbs is a good target. yeah.

and no, your excercise plan isnt pitiful at all. sit ups and press ups though, are aimed towards muscle, not weightloss.it will keep you fit, but it wont make you lose weight. considering all that, you probably have quite good muscle mass.

cardiovascular excercise like running, cycling, and so on are good for weight loss.

watching your diet is good too. if you eat when your bored or upset, which i can understand, that would affect it, specially considering the fact that carby foods are nice when ones upset ^^. feel free to talk to me, i could help you with the motivation thing. andd it would be good.

Woah, can I still join or is it too late???

Height: 5'7''

Lowest weight: I used to be a crazy athlete and weight around 120-130 pounds almost all MUSCLE.

Highest weight: Then when I stopped, i lost almost all my muscle mass, and gained around 20-25 pounds of pure fat. I ended up at 155 with no cardio, no strength , nothing :(

The ED: I didn't know ANYTHING about dieting and losing weight. I started starving and throwing up. Worked at first, got back to 133 pounds, but gained it all back due to bingeing and am now a bulimic. (Have been for around 10 months).

Current weight: 156-157 lbs

Goal weight: 130-135

Weight to lose: 20-25 pounds

Goals:

Be FIT

Be HEALTHY :)

Be Happy with myself!

Focus on other things than eating and dieting.

And by the way, if you want to lose weight and keep it off, you need to build muscles too, not just do cardio.

1 pound of muscle burns 50 more calories. :)

i know, but its important to balance the exercise isnt it?

i go to the gym but for me its entirely weight training :P ive always had a good muscle structure, which meant everyone thought i was fat. but i do have pudge that i wanna lose.

Hey i hope it's not too late to join! and this is such an awesome idea!

ok my stats

Height: 5'3

CW: 155lbs      ):

Goal Weight: 120lbs

I'm determined to reach my goal by halloween!
